Watched Miraculous Ladybug

My little sister was embarrassed to watch it alone, so I decided to watch it with her, as I have been dabbling in the fandom (mainly Julerose). Here are my hot takes.

- I honestly was convinced Alec was Hawkmoth for an embarrassingly long time. Still slightly think he is in league with Hawkmoth as some of his actions literally can't be explained otherwise.

- On other mistakes, I was hella suspicious of Master Fu, even after origins, for a while.

- I would die for Juleka, Max, Marc and Kagami. Also Sabrina as Miraculer. Just as Miraculer though.

- Alix is the coolest person to exist.

- Mayura has the best transformation sequence. Lady Noire had the best costume.

- The salt is overrated. Marinette and Adrien's actions are not always good but not terrible. They're no worse than each other.

- Except Glaciator. THAT is valid. You ask her out on the night, no forewarning. She says she already has plans and can't make it. You set everything up regardless, and then get mad when she doesn't show. SHE LITERALLY TOLD YOU SHE COULDN'T GO. That ois beyond reasonable

- But everything else is fine. I've seen worse in my peers.

- Speaking of salt, I think if Marinette hadn't been Ladybug, she would have absolutely fallen for Lila's stories. I would have thought Juleka, Ivan and Nathaniel would be generally apathetic, not disbelieving but not obsessing over her. Alix is too cool for this. But there is no way Max would have fallen for the lies. His singular personality trait is smart. He literally fact checks the lessons, he would definitely correct anything factually incorrect said by Lila.

- Speaking of Lila, why is she described as ugly all the time. She is beautiful, and Marinette should definitely seduce her over to the light in more ways than one.

- Speaking of redemption (this will be my last speaking of, I swear) Chloe should have got a redemption arc. Not because she deserved it but because there is potential and it would have made a good plot point.

- I'm not sure they can keep the plot going for much longer. Maybe one or two more seasons. But not much longer.

- My endgame ships would be

Lukalya (Yes I went there. I just like it. His calm to balance out her headstrongness. Her ambition verses his go with the flow. They'd be good for each other. Not to mention the show is build on opposites attract)

- Also there has better be a raven miraculous in the Scottish Miracle box because that's where it belongs.
