Advanced animation skills workshop Reflection
For the animations skills project, I think most of my work was ok. I think that I struggled most with the weight project. I think that it was hard to show the character struggle and convincingly show the weight of the boxes the characters is holding. I think I’m going to have to look at a lot more references to fully understand the movement. For the quadruped project, I think that this project went a lot more smoothly then weight project. I went down to a horse range that was close to my house and got some references of a horse walking. This helped me with breaking down the different movements of the horse. I split it up into different parts and this helps me understand the movements. I repeated this process for the trot and run. I think that the movement came out well. I just think I need to make some adjustments and I can improve it all. For the obstacle course project, I started with a 2D obstacle course inspired by video games like sonic. But then I realized that I had to have some three-dimensional perspective. So I redesign the background and started the animation again. I used references from the original ninja warrior and some YouTube videos for the rope climbing. The animation ended as a full minute. But I was happy with what I did.
