Research Trip to Funghistar

Plot These members, along with Minamino Mikako, are travelling to Funghistar to see how things have changed since their last visit. Think about the following -

What is the DGTO prescence like?

How are the Funghi going? What about the Dualium?

Are there any new fauna or flora to report on?

This is the first part of our advancing plot series. The members have been randomly assigned using a randomiser - if you signed up but weren’t included this time, you’ll be in the next plot, so don’t fret! (If you were in this one and would also like to be in the next one, let us know!) If you would like to join up, please send us a message! Not all will be serious and plot driven - some will be more idol based, and others based off various prompts.

The idea for this is to have one single thread for the plot point, rather than multiple threads - so please follow the first starter made, rather than everyone making their own stater. If you are not involved with the plot, please do not jump in without asking the admins!

This thread can go on as long as you like - it will be canon for the entire group. Have fun and be creative!

Return to Tundrastar

They’d left Akibastar early in the morning, hoping to arrive under the cover of night. Even DES had to sleep at some point, and Tundrastar didn’t really have much to offer, especially when DES forces were needed more urgently elsewhere (thanks, in part, to guerrilla lives and revolutions), so surely there wouldn’t be too much security late at night, right?

At least, that’s what Tomochin hoped for. The last time they’d visited Tundrastar... it’d been interesting, with the kenkyuuseis setting off, doing their own thing, and Takamina not being at full capacity. 

Looking around the cabin, Tomochin twirled a lock of hair idly - apart from Tsubasa and Mikako, who would probably stay by the ship rather than travel with them, Tomochin had the most experience and was the only successor on board.

She didn’t get nervous easily, but... This mission was to check out Tundrastar’s status, and hopefully push the planet into being able to make it’s own choices, instead of being under the boot of the DGTO. It wasn’t as relaxing as a handshake, which were plenty exhausting in their own right. 

She was never the leader for these types of things, and though she’d never been officially called such, she’d taken up that mantle to do her bit. Earlier, she’d told her sister she was doing it because she was a successor, she was older - it was only natural, right? Somehow, the brunette got the feeling she’d bitten off more than she could chew...

A voice came through the communication system. “Landing on Tundrastar in one hour in clear conditions. No DES forces seem to be active. Information will be confirmed fifteen minutes prior to landing.” The cabin went silent again.

Squaring her shoulders, Tomoyo started the conversation, asking a question she wasn’t too sure of. “Are we all ready for this?”
