“You know one of these days you’re going to be the death of me.” Four mumbles to Eric they were busy training the new recruits, “or a literal death to one of them. It’s their first week on the job. We had it easier on our first week, why don’t you go easy on them? Do the same training we had and build our way up to it?” Four didn’t see why it was necessary to train warriors they needed to have protectors, guardians. If anything happened then warriors. “They need to learn how to fight and protect yes, but is teaching them to be a warrior necessary?” He started to suspect that the factions were falling apart for some time now it was just a hunch he knew that Eric might be right and pushing everyone into more intense training he just didn’t care for his methods.

Everyone hoped that outside the maze would be better. Newt started to miss their little paradise at least they knew what they were competing up against. The world was so vast and filled with cranks just waiting. Waiting for them around every corner. Newt glances over for the moment they were safe. He couldn’t tell how long they were safe.  Newt wanted to think of a game plan but he couldn’t pull one up. They needed water, food, supplies and hopefully fresh clothes. Everything that was an essential was difficult to come by now days. Most of all they needed rest. Rest was a luxury they couldn’t afford.  It was his turn to keep watch while everyone slept. He didn’t mind his thoughts were racing he kept his hues focused on the wilderness around them making sure that no cranks would come and eat them while the others slept. He didn’t want to be responsible for anyone else being their midnight snack.
