Adventure One
Day one of my 60 day challenge is complete, which means that adventure one is complete! Today I spent the whole day without a lick of make up on my face. For some this may seem like an easy task, but for me it never is. I am not someone who piles on the make up everyday, but I do at the very least have mascara on everyday. I never really feel comfortable with it.
I thought today may have been an easy day of wearing no makeup. After all I was just working, and the babies at work don't care if I have make up on. Then I remembered I was baby sitting tonight for a family I had never met before. That made it a lot more challenging. You always want to make sure you are presenting yourself nicely when you meet new people and for me that usually means putting make up on. Not today! It wasn't even that bad.
I don't think I'll be going without make up everyday from now on, but it was nice to not worry about it for a day. It was nice to just rejoice and be in my God given beauty without thinking about all of the flaws. I was just me.
I'd say this adventure was a successful one.
