“Microbiology, because you’re micro!” is insulting.

Relieved to report that after a little timeout to cool off after the other day, Herbert has calmed down.
- Clarence
Back to work (and adventures)!
Cutoff time on work has now been pushed back to 2 AM as discipline for referring to me as micro. The role of my assistant isn’t some favor you do me and I do insist on a baseline amount of respect.
Have I made myself understood?
As you might imagine, the outdoors can be a bit intimidating for someone of my size. I can appreciate the more contained nature of the garden.
What better place for dinner than the old funeral chapel where the music is Best of the 80’s (But On Pipe Organ)?
Highlights of Clarence’s family barbecue. A (nearly) appropriately sized car and some nice smelling hiding places were enjoyable.
Clarence treated us to a night out at the bar last night (home of yesterday’s fur covered fish). We were both intrigued by the “PBPBPJ” hotdog (pickle, bacon, peanut butter, pepper jack).
I can appreciate the philosophy of “combine things that shouldn’t be together to create perfection”.
Had the unexpected pleasure of joining Clarence at work.
Actually rather enjoyable. The setting of a college bookstore is obviously familiar enough to be comfortable, offered plenty of reading material, and to quote the supervisor:
“In order to work here, you have to be at least a little neurodivergent.”
All in all, a pleasant day.
