Lunar New Year was one of the holidays that, even in Hell, Xifeng still celebrated. And with it being Year of the Horse, well... there was one particular imp that came to mind as to who would enjoy this year. Waiting for Blitz in his office at I.M.P is a small package with a statuette of a horse inside, itself a considerable weight from the materials. Not only that, but there's a few red envelopes too, with ones addressed to Millie, Moxxie, Loona, and Stolas along with one for him. There's a few crisp bills in each of varying worth, but it's clear that it's a significant amount of money.

"Happy Lunar New Year, Blitzø. May this year bring you and yours good fortune - Xifeng" is what the note attached to the gifts says.

【𐂃】 SHE REALLY WENT ALL OUT for someone like him? Xifeng had every base covered. Blitz's family, his horsegirl traits, && their dire need for cash. Granted, taking money from overlords is something he didn't mind doing. however, he gathered the money that was necessary for I.M.P only; the leftovers he decided to use them for Xifeng. She's part of the holiday tradition too. he knew his crew would agree to give her, her fair share too. Without haste, the Assassin spent the money to commission a horse sona keychain for her; which arrived at her mail with a letter attached too.

it wasn't the BEST writing ever. but on the letter it had everyone's signature on it. leaving their regards on how much they appreciated the gifts. Also wishing her the best Horse Year && welcoming her to visit anytime she's able to. that their boss now allows it.

As for the horse statue, Blitz placed it on his office. a place he will be able to see it every day && appreciate it more than at home~ ♡

🍵 What does your writing process look like? Do you make physical notes first? Do you use docs?

I don't use docs or notes unless I'm on mobile, which I hate doing because I can't do my formatting/get easy access to my tags. I'm almost 95% desktop exclusive because it's just the best way for me to write. In most cases, I'm typing right in the text box here on Tumblr or in my drafts, often multi-tasking while playing a game or watching something. It's hard for me to super focus when I'm watching another piece of media though so when I really wanna knuckle down and delve deep into my writing, I'll put on my Alastor playlist (which is in my pinned!) Otherwise, there's no special process! I just write, maybe make a small edit here or there if I see a typo or a grammatical issue, and then post!

🍑 What is something you hyperfocus on in your portrayal?

Alastor's inner thoughts/monologue. He has a lot of thoughts about things that he keeps to himself, and it would be excessively boring if he didn't express that in the narrative in SOME way. So while he doesn't outwardly mention them a lot of the time, I add them in there so at least the other writer can get a better feel for his motivations, emotions, and driving factors for what he does. It's not justification, especially in his most heinous and cruel moments, but it does give insight to where his head is at so that most of his actions don't seem "out of nowhere", narratively.

🪻 Do you prefer sending memes or receiving them?

Receiving them! I like to go overboard when I'm answering asks and many of them act as starter potential or little ficlets/drabbles. They're a great way to entertain new scenarios or get a plot going with a friend. Sending them is a bit of a crapshoot because you never know if they'll get answered or not. And many times when I send them, they will get shorter responses that I can't really do anything with LOL so if I'm sending them, it's just to give the other writer an opportunity, not because I'm sincerely hoping it'll start a plot or anything.

🍑 What is something you hyperfocus on in your portrayal?

My themes. I like to dive into the prey animal rage & all bark and no bite (even though he really does have a bite to go with it. Just maybe not as much as he'd like to think). I like to tie in all of the trauma and emotional damage from when he was alive, and toss it in with how his demon self made it 10x as worse with his chaotic nature. I like that "shadow" side of Alastor that he keeps hidden, and I play with that in the sense of using his Shadow lol If any of that made sense.

🪷 Whose writing do you admire?

Everyone that I follow. Seriously. I admire everyone's writing. I get to see different types, see new ways to word things, and it's just a blast! If I had to say a person... I would say there are three that I admire to the moon a back— absolutely leave me floored: @anviled , @arachnaemboss , and @chavahs ! Kat, Jack, and Echo are wonderful writers that always inspire me, and leave me stunned. Each time I get a reply from them, or see them on the dash, I feel like I have to rethink my life. I also sit and wonder why they are even writing with me in the first place. I'm so honored to get the chance to explore characters with them, and on top of it??? They are so sweet and funny <3

Alastor hadn't registered her question at first as he rummaged through drawers and shelving alike, looking under and over furniture, seeming to be searching for something in particular. Where was it? This is what he got for hapzardardly doing this - however once he had an urge, there wasn't much he could do to stop it. And now his work was going to drip all over the floorboards of his studio. How unfortunate. How sloppy.

The victim - an aspiring Overlord that wouldn't be much of anything both mentally and physically after the Radio Demon was done with him. Those screams of pain and torture were quite delightful - even if Alastor wasn't as prepared this time around. Having ripped the heart out of the man, snapping the ribcage in the process, and making his last dying moments watching it beat in the Radio Demon's claws. The face of the bloodied corpse twisted into a permanent silent shriek of terror, while the radio host kneeled under his desk to keep up the search.

"Darling, have you seen the bone saw?" Alastor was unphased by the horror in front of him, his own coat and shirt stained with the Sinner's blood. Even going as far as lifting the body to see if he may have lost it underneath.....what was left of the mass of flesh. "Could you be a doll, Xi, and hit that knob on the radio, just turn the music down a bit so I can try and jog my memory - ah, appreciated, dear." He offered a grin at Xifeng, whom had probably been down this road a many of times....even in life. Alastor was always fond of having a soundtrack while he worked. "Now then, where is it? Where in Hell did I put it? I can't very well manifest the thing if I don't remember where it is! Goodness. How did I never get caught in life, I will never know, ha!"

"I've been curious about something, Charlie," began the advertising overlord as she places her teacup on its saucer. "Have you considered what your life would be like if Hell was devoid of sinners that have been successfully redeemed? Sure, there would be new sinners all the time, and for those redeemed you can visit them in Heaven, but you'd be down here all alone, right?"

"I mean...I've thought about it a couple of times, yeah." She admitted quietly, gaze downcast. While her ultimate goal was to redeem every sinner who wanted to be redeemed, Charlie also knew that eventually, all her friends would most likely be gone and up in Heaven.

"This isn't about me though." Charlie added, meeting the other woman's gaze, determination lighting out her eyes. "It's about making sure my friends are saved from an Exorcist's blade. And besides, I'm sure there are going to be sinners that don't necessarily want to be redeemed. So, it's not like it's going to be alone-alone, you know?" She tried to brush it off, forcing out a laugh for good measure.
