Dog Days
@advjeon
Going out and drinking isn’t exactly a normal daily thing for Jiyong. He usually tries to avoid places that might be full of far too many humans, actually. He’s not sure what got into him last night that changed his mind. Actually, no, he does. It was extremely cold outside, bars are warm, and they were advertising a drink that had something about fire in the name. Obviously, these all made the bar seem that much more appealing so the hellhound decided that it was a good plan to hit up the bar for everything that it had to offer.
The fact that he doesn’t often visit bars is probably also why he found himself so completely smashed last night. He had way to many of the aforementioned fire drinks which resulted in his complete and total amnesia when he woke up the next day. He’s got a few blurry images of some guy who he apparently hit it off with and the two of them chatted for the while. He’s in a bed, which he assumes means he actually went back to his own room for once instead of stumbling into Minhyuk’s room drunk as a dog (literally and metaphorically). It’s weird considering he’s relatively sure he crashed on the couch and not in bed, but he’s pretty sure that he could have moved. It doesn’t seem that odd, at least.
So he roll over and stretches. He turned into his doberman form at some point during the night. He was probably asleep at the time, so it’s really not a big deal. This happens often enough. It’s not like being a dog is weird for him or anything. If anything, it’s quite the opposite. He opens his eyes slowly and blinks. This room sure has a lot more stuff in it than he remembered...
Come to think of it... Is this his room at all? He lifts his head and wiggles his ears a little. There’s no way this is his room. He doesn’t own half of this stuff! He nearly jumps up and out of the bed before he notices that there is someone else in the bed. He stares for a moment. There’s really no good way to react in this situation, is there? He’s a dog, there’s some guy here, he was drunk. These combinations all seem very odd. He’s pretty sure this is the same kid he went drinking with last night. The face at least matches his memory... Sort of.
So he decides the best thing to do is bark. He could turn back into a human, but he’s not entirely sure that’s the best plan. His clothes are bound to be here somewhere, but he likely threw them further away when he turned into a dog and this poor kid does not need to wake up with some guy naked in his room. There’s some twisted logic there. Waking up with a dog that isn’t his in his room will probably be just as shocking, but Jiyong isn’t one to question his decisions when he makes them. So he just stares at the guy before sighing to himself.
This is going to be really awkward to explain...
