"The Cycle is Not Always What It Appears To Be "
Thinking about this Age of Aquarius and the young people of this day. Usually the older generation thinks the young ones are crazy and wild.... "wilder than we were", they say.
What do I see?
Casual sex is a thing. After growing up in a household that turned out broken what's the reason or meaning behind believing in love that can last a lifetime? There is no longer a reason to believe in the fairytale, it's never going to happen. No reason to have children, this world is shitty anyway.
I get it, both sides, I'm the millennial in the middle.
What I think they are missing is how extreme their views are. The younger generations of today have outer planets in Aquarius(extremism is a known quality) and they may miss a lot of things, to show them that tradition does matter, even if it doesn't come as a fairytale.
They don't want marriage or kids, because of their experiences. And I get it, my childhood sucked too. But I think what they are missing is how much of their own power they are giving away, over their own lives.
They are intending to avoid the pain by avoiding the outward manifestation that they witnessed. I hate to witness the Bible, "...the evidence of things not seen", but that's what the divorce and broken homes were. The broken homes were evidence of hurt and sorrow that was not being dealt with.
My parents weren't brought up in an environment that encouraged positive mental health, that has only recently become a thing. So they were still dealing with generational trauma and unconsciously passed it on, as it was done to them. Some from every generation in this diaspora of the U.S. are able to figure it out and enlighten themselves to prevent passing this same pain on to their children as much as possible.
And now Generation Z and beyond have to do the same. Although from my vantage point they really have the tools. There are those of the Millennials who have strong Scorpio, 8th house placements, that encourage transformation of the mind preparing them to usher in those that will need it. With more outer planets in Aquarius and Sagittarius, it inclines them towards groups, group thinking, higher learning, expansion, experience, and the ideal.
For these reasons I have faith in them. I realize many are living unconsciously right now, but as they begin to awaken they will make radical changes that will bless us all.
What about the cycle again?
I'm saying the cycle is not always what it appears to be. They think by not getting married, the pain of unconditional love will be solved with avoidance. But what about intimacy of emotion. And the limitations of casual sex? What they are missing is that we are all human and have the same needs to live a well rounded fulfilled life. Most of us want to live a fulfilled life and in order to do that all the elements of our nature must feel active and engaged, no energy wants to be left out.
Fire, Air, Water, and Earth. Intimacy, 8th house, Scorpio, Pluto is Water. The themes here are sex, money, intensity, merging, intimacy, the psyche, the mind, power, where one engages with another and they become one. It's deep, transformative, occultic, maybe even taboo. Avoiding marriage to avoid intimacy also blocks other parts of yourself, you can't avoid the evidence of manifestation, what is going on within. It's not healthy, nor recommended. And if it is not acknowledged within it will make itself know externally. The true way to break the cycle would be to dive in. Therapy and occultic studies for those who want to go it alone, learn to understand your mind (the why's and how). Don't avoid intimacy, understand it. Break the cycle when you go ahead and fuck up, so then you can reap all the benefits and realize intimacy is really not so scary after all. Maybe those before you just didn't have the resources or tools, that you now do. You have the power to train your mind to think differently and see other perspectives outside your own.
Don't make the same mistakes by trying to not do what your parents did, that's the choice everyone always chooses to make, every generation does this. Lol. Stop making choices based out of fear... you're not in the jungle. If you were, then that may make sense. Lol.
Try something different for real and just live/be you. Meditate 🧘🏿♀️ and find what's aligned.
