I’m in a similar boat having been raised by my dad. My conclusion early on that a lot of the “girl” traits are just american arbitrary cliches of women and have more to do with those cliches being unconsciously passed down than anything to actually do with womanhood. So if you had parents who didn’t buy into the cliches, you probably lack a good many of them. I think it’s a bonus, really- why would I want to be whiny over my hair getting wet or some dumb shit.

Nah, mostly about institutional discrimination, menstrual pain and the constant fear of being overpowered or attacked. I’m sure I’ve experienced sexism, but either I didn’t notice it, or it just didn’t bother me when I was the subject of it as opposed to someone else.

Also please so me when they were equals? Was it when despite knowing she was a Palpatine Luke and Leia still trained her while they gave up on Ben? 

Or was it when all the Jedi spoke to Rey while they didn’t say shit to Ben while he was in the pit?

Or was it when Rey was able to heal Ben and live while after Ben healed Rey he died.
