(If it isn't Miss Ann,) Aepper bows down politely, a hint of lighthearted mischief was present in his gesture.

He wasn't wearing anything except for his usual attire of the peppermint colour scheme and a simple white flower clipping up the strand of his hair.

(I feel rather guilty for not dressing up nicely for the mood,) he ironically chuckles, smiling at the brunette as he extended a hand out to her.

(Well then, let us take our lead down the runway, hm?)

Aepper smirked as he sat quietly on the tree, waiting to capture his prey from down below him, scanning her surroundings.

His purple attire in contrast to Carol's white attire made it clear that they were in no way helping each other or even mutual with one another for this survival of the beanest.

Aepper peered down from the branch, the leaves helping him blend into his surroundings. Quietness was Aepper's main asset, helping him take down previous preys before Carol.

It was quite cute seeing her all serious and alert.

Just as he was about to swoop down, the glint of his eyes shone towards her, the girl looking up to meet his eyes.

Readying her pod, Aepper swiftly came down from his hiding spot, smoothly grabbing her pod away as he grabbed her by the waist and leaned them down, as if they were dancing a tango.

Aepper smiled, glad to see the enthusiasm of Epel.

(You can carry them out to meet Ciel, Epel,) Aepper gave the drinks to Epel as the apple boy handled the tray carefully with his two hands.

"Oh, yeah. Hey Aepper? When's the next umbrella fencing class? Can we bring along Ciel? I'm gonna show him that trick you taught me! I'm getting better!!"

(One for you and one for you,) Aepper set the two plates of cheesecake on their table, taking out the notepad from his pants pocket as he clicked his pen, marking finished the orders that were delivered.

Observing the cheesecake, it seems that the peppermint boy had made it specially by himself.

The lime green gooseberry jelly wasn't present on the picture of the regular cheesecake in the menu, which was originally raspberry sauce. Complementing the pastry and plate itself was a ruby red gooseberry compote, decorated with mint leaves to make it seem like a rose bouquette. The finishing touches of the whole dish was playfully and sneakily topped off with a peppermint candy to confirm the dish was specially made by the butler of the crow.

The peppermint boy look towards the two, a polite and soft smile etched his features, emerald and cream white eyes scanning the two in curiosity.

(Say.. I haven't met you to before. Your names are...Melanie and Louise, is that correct?)

The two nodded, Aepper looked back to his notepad before flipping it close and stuffed it back into his pants pocket, placing a gloved hand on his chest and bowing down like a bondsman.

(Well, I'm quite delighted to see new faces around the town,) he smiles kindly.

(Hopefully you'll enjoy my special cheesecake I made on my own, just for the two of you. I work hard on making sure it will make a good first impression on the town's cafe itself. Now, if you excuse me, I should leave you two to enjoy your cheesecake.)

He walks towards the door, not before turning back to leave behind a playful grin and a cheeky wink of an eye before walking back to the counter.

Aepper eyes softened a little, remembering his master and the good old days he used to have with them.

Aepper smiled. The real Aepper was up on the roof, looking down to see his own illusion wave, before it shattered.

Has he been a good friend, he wondered. All he could think about now was his master and Kiara.
