I love your little paranoid Elgyem that sounds like such a fun character to play ^^ I am curious though is the game built around an existing system (Like D&D etc) or is your GM homebrewing it?

Only change our DM made is this is gonna be a one-shot adventure, with the possibility for more if it goes well and we wanna keep going, our schedules can work it out, and the DM can think of more adventure ideas. XD This is our first time playing this system, and the first time half of the group has met the other half let alone played together (save for DM who knew us all), but we hopped on vc together and got on super well so I'm pretty excited for it >w<

Nothing is more fun than someone groaning at a bad pun and telling you how terrible it is ^^ I think it just makes Sans happy and that’s why Papyrus pretends to berate them in front of others :)

Exactly! It’s a whole bit--papyrus know sans tells bad jokes specifically to get a reaction, and since it’s a guaranteed way to cheer his brother up, of course papyrus plays along and really goes over the top with it, because he also loves any chance to be dramatic.

I’ve actually had a scene in mind for a long time, where toriel witnesses papyrus berating sans for a particularly terrible pun, and thinks he’s genuinely mad. they have to stop her mid-lecture to explain that no, no, they do this all the time, it’s an ongoing gag between them--and only then does her concern subside.

in fact, in Act seven of Chapter six, when toriel is telling all her puns--if you look close, papyrus is smiling a little when he’s ‘rebuking’ her -u-

I was given a request to draw a “Scene from my favorite fic” and I ended up choosing something that I knew was gonna be so cool!! Chapter 10 from The Doctor’s Debts where Aster summons Skully for the first time (Again)! Even when I realized way too late that I put Undyne in the wrong attire!
