@aeris-blue So, I've been working on this since my very first post, and after some delays, it is finished! There are some flubs, but let's just say that was Tristen's first attempt! Click on the pictures for better quality.

30 days of knitting challenge. Day 1

1. What was your first finished project? A lavender scarf for my friend Alessa with bernat baby yarn on size 5 needles. It was almost 6 feet long, and 6in wide. There were 2 dropped stitcjes, which later found themselves again. I started 3 projects before that one, but one was too ugly to finish, while the other ended up doubling in width! The third i finished later for my friend Alicia.

Knitting Challenge Day 1

       Today is day one of the knitting challenge I have decided to complete, as I mentioned in my earlier post. Today's question is: 

       What was your first finished project?

       My first finished project was a striped garter stitch scarf. I had recently taught myself to knit, and while I was at my Oma's house, she gave me some yarn to entertain me (I was about 7 years old, and getting in everyone's way), and so I decided to make a scarf. I still have it somewhere, but it's falling apart, as I wasn't so great at changing colours apparently.
