Final Fantasy VII Remake- Aerith’s Theme (Credits)
2 years ago, we spoke about how Cloud Smiles and Aerith’s Theme sound a lot alike, and now @pluvia_ca has taken the time to make a little snippet as an example. Nobuo Uematsu is a clerith genius!
Okay, wow. This Japanese person by the name of ErinaKoga on twitter (nana-music.com profile) posted this on twitter. And it’s exactly what I always wanted a vocal version of Aerith’s theme to sound like. It’s very well done despite not being professionally recorded. In my opinion, Square should follow this exact composition if they ever remake Aerith’s theme. Here’s the lyrics.

Sunday Sounds #3: Aeris' Theme from Final Fantasy 7
For gamers of a certain age the death of Aeris was a watershed moment, a moment where games stopped just being games and became something more.
The music that accompanied this moment has become almost as iconic as the in game event itself. If you've played it you'll know, if not well, you weren't there man, you weren't there...
Regardless of what you think of the many iterations of Final Fantasy, the music has always been top notch. This is thanks largely to Nobu Uematsu, easily the most well known videogames composer in the world. Long may it continue!
Day 10: A song that makes you cry Aerith's Theme by Nobuo Uematsu
I'ma be real with y'all, this song doesn't make me cry. Go ahead and think what you want, I ain't no punk. But I will say that this song has a special place in my heart, true story. I remember playing Final Fantasy VII for the first time and seeing one of the coolest and most charming video game characters get killed off was devastating. Now the theme song is just even more sincere and beautiful on piano. I would love to play this song for my first born child someday.
