Project by Eduardo Cajal and Playmodes converts the interior of a former aeroplance into an audio / visual LED light installation:

Porta Estel·lar (the catalan for Star Gate), by PlayMID, is an immersive light and sound installation inside a plane. This video is a document of the set-up made on Barcelona’s Ciutadella park during september of 2015.

Through the creation of visual and sound sequences that suggest the idea of interstellar travel, audience flies to outer space in an intense trip, from departure and takeoff to the sighting of comets, planets, galaxies and alien worlds, until finally returning safe to earth.

136 यात्रियों से भरा विमान रनवे से फिसलकर नदी में जा गिरा

चैतन्य भारत न्यूज अमेरिका के फ्लोरिडा में शुक्रवार को बोइंग 737 विमान नदी में जा गिरा। हादसा उस समय हुआ जब विमान लैंडिंग कर रहा था। तभी अचानक से वह रनवे से फिसलकर सेंट जॉन नदी में गिर गया। हादसे के वक्त विमान में 136 यात्री मौजूद थे। हालांकि इस हादसे में किसी के हताहत होने की खबर नहीं है। लेकिन मीडिया रिपोर्ट्स के मुताबिक, हादसे में दो यात्रियों को हल्की चोटें आई हैं।

घटना शुक्रवार रात की है। जानकारी के मुताबिक, विमान क्यूबा से जैक्सनविले पहुंचा था। पायलट विमान को भारी आंधी में रनवे पर उतारने का प्रयास कर रहा था और तभी विमान रनवे के अंत में मौजूद नदी में फिसल गया। हादसे के बाद जैक्सनविले शेरिफ कार्यालय ने अपने ट्वीटर अकाउंट से दो तस्वीरें भी शेयर की हैं। इन तस्वीरों में विमान नदी में तैरता हुआ नजर आ रहा है। उन्होंने कैप्शन में लिखा कि- 'हादसे के बाद विमान डूबा नहीं, हर व्यक्ति सुरक्षित है।'

बता दें एक बार ऐसा भी हादसा हो चुका है जब पायलट ने विमान को दुर्घटना से बचाने के लिए नदी के बीच में उतार दिया था। ये घटना 15 जनवरी, 2009 की है। जानकारी के मुताबिक, यूएस एयरवेज की फ्लाइट 1549 को नदी में उतार दिया गया था। घटना की काफी चर्चा भी हुई थी। इतना ही नहीं बल्कि इस घटना पर आधारित 'सली' नाम की एक हॉलीवुड फिल्म भी बनाई गई थी। Read the full article

Day 2: Abandoned USA navy Plane - On the Saturday of Nov 24, 1973 a United States Navy airplane (C-47 SkyTrain also known as “Dakota”) was forced to land on Sólheimasandur’s black sandy beach in the south of  Iceland. The crew survived the landing and the airplane’s remains are still standing at the crash site.
