What have you done?
She sighs, she slumps, she whips her hair
It insults my tastes to say she was just fair
Her aura is like the sun, magnificently enticing
But I would protest if you should stare
Could you imagine being me?
Dark, “harsh”, & in control
But when I gaze upon her visage
I truly see a goddess’ mold
My harsh edges become dull to her prying
My control is over rode
I lay myself bare before her, and wonder if she knows...
How I love the way her mouth conveys the inner workings of her mind
How I wish to support and grow with her throughout the reminder of our time
How I wish to get to know her better and see her other sides
As that will give me more of her to cherish and divine
How I have never truly encountered someone like her, she is entirely unique
How I love the fierceness in her voice when, for others she may speak
Although I have been involved with many a girl, this I can’t deny
She’s the first to make me think the feelings for those others were lies
Adversity and hardships to her are all passed over time
She is truly a champion like one I have not seen, and within her soul I see a steady confidence of gleam
My inner workings are in disarray...what have you done?
For you? My sturdy defenses are not in the way...what have you done?
My mind & thoughts to you? Are simply an open book
Ready for you at any moment if you may wish a look...what have you done?
You appear to others as silk, but I know your soul is steel
Not rigid and inflexible, but strong & supportive with a boisterous will
What have you done to me...? Because beyond you I cannot see, a future, a home, a friendship, or being alone, unless it’s you & me.
