Working on the player character for my team’s entry in the Godot Wild Jam.
She is a happy little cactus named Prickles who just wants to dance and have some fun.
Really felt like I was onto something while creating this one. I find it hard to settle on an illustration style or even medium, and often just try not to think about it too hard while creating, instead focusing on just making. This felt like a step forward in figuring out a preferred way to work digitally, with lots of texture built up through line work! (wahoo)
This scene is from a D&D campaign I'm in, where our characters descended a massive tower with frescoes on the walls, leading to some BIG trouble at the bottom! 🐍
