After we conducted user testing and interviews, we put together all the things we heard from our drone users and did an activity called affinity mapping. An affinity diagram (the result of mapping) allows you to gather large amounts of data (issues, opinions, experiences, ideas) and organizes them into groups and categories. It also helps surface the relationship between these groups. As we mapped the things we heard from our drone users, we saw some categories emerge: things like Tooltip issues or Zooming Controls.
