Prompt / Desire

There is an item rumored to be a cure for his condition. It is a combination of potion and spell that can render him whole, one person with one age, like everyone else. The one who use it will be cleansed of their past hexes and curses, fully restored to their health. It has been Andrew’s obsession since he was 17. Intellectually, he understands that most likely has never existed in the first place, but that hasn’t stopped him looking. Finding it means never having to spend another night in agony, or take time off from illness due to a particularly bad Change.

That pales to what he wants emotionally: forgiveness. The incident that caused his Change had caused the disappearance --possible murder -- of Cyrus Dash wood. It had been agreed that Dashwood had gone and acted of his own accord, but that doesn’t stop the guilt from haunting Andrew. The older he gets, the more he wants to be forgiven for his role in the tragedy. He will never admit this and deny it if ever confronted about it

Pancakes

Desire

Nothing is more exotic, more refined and definitely more beloved than the cooking of one’s own mother. Everyone goes on and on about a grandmother who is loving and kind, the never ending supplier of cookies and emotionality. But Louis digress, the one that pulls his heart into a never ending string of passion and ultimate desire is that of his beloved Maman.

  This is no biased opinion, a creation of just eating the food of one mother all his life. This is the root of his heart’s desire. But what gets his stomach churning is the thought of his mother’s pancakes, fluffy with always the right amount of syrup. Never too much that it goes beyond a plate’s limit and never so little that he is left with half a un-syruped pancake.

  There are no words to describe a pancake so magnificently crafted, a pancake no god has ever tasted because it was always Louis’ own. If the angels dropped from the skies, it was all because they were dying for the simple taste of pancake that wasn’t easily accessible.

  Beyond the borders of infatuations and crawling through the web of zeal and obsession; there’s nothing like dear Maman’s pancakes.

Physical Crave:

Carley lives on chocolate. She always makes sure to have a bar on the go and one in her bag to share with others. She lives and breathes the stuff, ensuring to restock when shes run out.

Emotional Crave:

Carley misses her best friend, Tessa, who moved to France just before she started her first year, and as a result, she doesn't see her anymore. Since then, she's come to realize that the only thing she wants is to see her best friend again.

Maeve shook her head, at a loss for words. This had to be some kind of cruel joke.

She sifted through her files, heart pounding as she pondered the extent of the theft. They’d been guarded so closely, protected with everything she had. Surely that was enough, wasn’t it?

With horror in her eyes, she realized which folder was missing; the file on Amy Adams. It was personal, the most personal thing she had, and it would render her vulnerable to anyone with knowledge of her fragile thoughts. So with trembling hands and a watering heart, she left her morals to do the deed. Tonight. She’d steal it tonight.

Malecrit, Maeve's favorite playwright, published twenty copies of his journal before he died. She's always wanted to read a copy, but they're so rare that she's never even seen one.

Emotional:

Emotionally, Maeve has never been too stable. Ostracized since a young age, she's wanted friends for a long time. She fears she'll never be able to though.

Prompt - The Black Lake

A few weeks into term and Hogwarts is seeing unseasonably pleasant weather. The rain has subsided, and the gloominess that often comes with autumn has all but disappeared.

The students (and even some staff) have taken advantage of the weather and moved their activities outdoors, and though the lake is frigid braver first years have taken to dipping their feet in the shallow waters.

It's a perfect day until you feel something slimy curl around your ankle, and after a moment of horror you feel your body jerk downward until you're completely submerged.

In the distance you see a shadow--the squid perhaps?--but isn't it too far away...?

Dozens of students were nearby, but as you claw above your head to grab hold of something, you doubt any are coming to save you. What can a bunch of wizards-in-training do against a huge magical beast?

//OOC: The squid has been enchanted and has begun yanking students into the lake. The water, too, has almost come to life, and it's also grabbing hold of anything nearby. Of course, in your panic you don't exactly know what's going on, but best of luck escaping. And don't assume anyone's coming to help. You may very well be entirely on your own. //

What Lies Inside | | Jasper | | Prompt #2

Jasper stood up straight, his hand outstretched, ready for anything. He'd spied the box from the entrance of the Great Hall and ran into investigate, and much to his persona, tripped and fell right in front of it. Chuckling, he stood up and brushed himself off. Luckily, the Hall was empty, and so his fumble went unnoticed. Regaining composure, he brought himself back up, and cleared his throat.

Here we go, about to touch the box I know nothing about, yup, totally cool, you fucking idiot.

Jasper couldn't contain it any longer, he pulled out his wand and backed away, he had a hunch, he had heard one of the professors utter an incantation once before, and he had made sure to look it up after in one of the advanced spells textbooks, Homenum Revelio it had been called, and it recealed human presence within the area. Because he never knew, it may have been a prank.

Homenum Revelio! he cried, and to his dismay (and secret relief) nothing changed. Sighing, Jasper finally took the final step forward, and with an audible gasp, placed his hand on the box.
