"I have read a few books, seen a few films and documentaries and been to a number of seminars/conferences dealing with African spirituality, science, culture and history and this DVD effort is very good in what it purports to want the viewer to understand about African religion. . Africa is acknowledged as the starting point of the genesis of modern man. Some of the earliest accomplishments in the sciences and arts have been found on the African continent. Following slavery and colonization (both Arab and European) over centuries much of these facts have been erased, non attributed to the indigenous inhabitants, underplayed or undervalued for reasons of prejudice. If these wrongs are to be put right then "Ancestral Voices" makes a valid and timely contribution towards Africans being credited where it is due - and the inhabitants world will no doubt be on a better path towards peace and prosperity for all!"
