Some men go to therapy after a breakup, others spend $44bn on a social media platform.
Sometimes lost love is a lesson. We realize who we are, or who we’ve strayed away from. We realize the patterns, the habits we’ve fallen into. We realize how far we’ve wandered from the truths we’ve built our lives upon, or the people we’ve pushed ourselves to be. We realize that, even though we may have loved someone with the entirety of our being, loving them has hurt us rather than helped us. And as much as we care, as much energy as we’ve put into the relationship, as much time and heart we’ve invested, sometimes it’s healthy and necessary to walk away.⠀ ⠀ Sometimes lost love is a healer. We find ourselves wandering in the wake of our breakups. We find ourselves faltering, unsteady, confused. We find our feet no longer know where to tread, or our hearts seem to beat out of sync. We find that we don’t quite know who we are without that other person beside us. But then, we also find our lives are shifting in beautiful, powerful ways. We find that what has cracked us has not destroyed us. And we learn, day by day, piece by piece, to assemble our souls back together again.⠀ ⠀ Sometimes lost love is a teacher. After them, we discover the strength in making our own choices, in carving our own futures. We create new rhythms to dance to, new melodies to hum. We take what was broken and let it soften us. We learn that love is not dependent upon a specific person, but a feeling we have in our chests when we choose to fall into someone, when we choose to create and believe and embody that feeling in our hearts and actions every single day.⠀ ⠀ Sometimes lost love is a reminder. Of who we are. Of our worth. Of the impermanence of this world and how we can forever continue to move forward, despite what’s been destroyed in the past. Of the possibility we have to be someone else, to be with someone else, to start over, to find something far more beautiful than what was.⠀ ⠀ Sometimes lost love is a blessing.⠀
It never gets easy after a breakup no matter how many times someone goes through with it. Let’s try to get over it in the healthiest way possible, shall we?

Here is my backstory for some of my new followers.
In 2014 I was in a new relationship with who would latter become my sons father but I was fresh out of high school no prior relationship in my life except my long distance boyfriend who lived in Utah while I was in dirty jersey. That’s besides the point and a story for another time. But when I met my sons father I thought yes one and done this is the guy I’m gonna be with , funny how wrong I was. So in February 2015 I found out I was pregnant with my son. My relationship with my sons father was rocky he was an alcoholic and an abusive partner mentally and physically. It got to a point when we both sat down and said that if this countines after our sons first birthday then we will go our sepret ways and coparent as best as we can. So 2016 the day after thanksgiving I gave him the choice to pick alcohol or his family and he left and never came back. To this day we coparent to the best of our abilities but I walked out of a very bad relationship. I was single for an entire year and I experimented with new partners here and there but I was searching for my soulmate in a sea of men with intention spans of flys. None knew how to treat me sexually or take care of me mentally. None understood that my motherly duties came first. So from 2016-2019 I was drifting from relationship to relationship not understanding when my guy was gonna walk thru the door. Then bam after getting my heart broken for the millionth time I saw this light at the end of the tunnel. That the man of my dreams was always there we were just in two different books slowly awaiting for one of us to catch up. So I guess what I’m trying to say is the universe will put you where u need to be just be patient. My journey has been long and hard. Most days not knowing what to do next. But finally after four years I can breath and be happy.
Mediation
Soooo Monday is the big day after a month of no contact with my ex fiancé we are finally going to court for custody and child support. And to be honest I'm excited to see his face when I walk in there with my huge stack of paper work looking cute as fuck because his ass is getting everything I can throw at him. He's gonna look at me and realize he fucked with the wrong bitch. He literally had free range could pay me child care when he wanted to. Could have his son whenever he wanted. Cancel plans on having his son whenever He wanted. He did whatever he wanted for the past three years. He made me feel crazy and felt like I was the asshole who fucked our relationship but really he is the Crazy one. I have so many people who sit there and say how proud they are of me and I'm killing it being a single mama. Some days are harder then others but I won't stop fighting 👏🏻

The past few months have been nothing but positive vibes and I can't help to finally get wrapped in to this happiness feeling. My son is healthy and thriving my ex is trying his hardest to be civil (which I'll take it) my second promotion in a year and a half is going good. My love life is starting again. And there just this boy that I'm going crazy for. He makes me smile. He makes my heart skip a beat. It feels like every time we hangout it's like the first time agin and again. He's perfect to me. Life is good. I'm starting to enjoy myself for once ❤️
Ready to fall again
It’s been way to long since I felt any type of emotional connection towards anyone. The last time I had sex was my last emotional connection and to be honest it still fucks me up when I think about it. If you have read my last few entry’s you guys do know that I have found a man who’s really caught my eye. He calls my every night and makes sure I’m awake for work. He texts me good morning texts and he just makes me smile again. I never thought I would smile again in a romantic kinda way but he makes me happy he gives me hope and just makes my soul smile. He’s there when I need to talk. He’s there when I’m sad or angry. He is more supportive then any guy I have ever met and still I haven’t even slept with the guy yet. It just feels right.
