I'm not an expert or anything but I'm pretty sure this isn't how you execute effective foreign policy: 1. Alienate all of your closest allies. 2. Start picking fights with your enemies.

Thanks for the reblog! Also, w00t to seeing more serial fiction people here on tumblr! Is there a whole nest of you? If so, do you have a list of people to follow?
I hope you don't mind if I answer this publicly? I normally wouldn't, but I think this is a time when such is necessary, you know?
So first, you are totally welcome for the reblog. I'd have done it even without that fantastic Windblade (she's amazing, seriously, I want more of her book so badly). I don't often reblog things (and maybe that's a failing), but I try to do my best to get the word out when I can.
Secondly, yes! There are a bunch of us here doing serials, and I know a few of the folks that make up the community. They in turn know more. So let me get you a short list, eh?
mrnelson007 has a really fantastic, sometimes-interactive serial called "Correspondence From The Goddess." Apparently the protagonist is, well, the re-creator of the entire universe, and this is her story. You can find it at goddesscorrespondence, and it's pretty sweet.
i-dlrivermoore is doing "The Reborn", a serial involving past lives, strangely violent subtext, and a lot of mental health issues. And I'm beginning to wonder if time travel is involved.
jheissner97 is doing "Genre Shift," and it's very fun. Take a bunch of oddly-interconnected people, and then push them forcefully through every movie trope ever invented. I'm rather enjoying it.
afterlifeserial is done by Michael Monroe, and is the serialization of his novel "Afterlife." It's available at Shea Magazine for free, and he frequently updates his blog to provide information and updates on the story itself.
mtoddgallowglas isn't doing serials, but he is a self-published author of some pretty cool stories, such as "Halloween Jack" and the "Tears Of Rage" series. He's also a great resource of humor, insight, and some fun folk tales.
And lastly, if you're not aware of it, the nice folks at Tuesday Serial have a series of link tools and a collection page that you can use to get your serial up and on a list of other web-borne serials. It can be useful.
Thank you so much for the follow, I really hope that you enjoy what I have to offer here. As I tell so many others: If you like it, awesome! Please share it! If you don't like it, well, not awesome, but do tell me right away. I can't make it better if I don't know what's broken. :)
A review of Correspondence From the Goddess, the free online serial novel by Andrew G. Foltz
Holy cow. I have a review. I haven't even finished it yet and I'm getting reviewed. I am so unbelievably flattered right now you guys you don't even know.
This is just... wow.
Thank you to sheamagazine for publishing this and a big thank you to afterlifeserial for writing it. Seriously, there are no words.
People You Should Be Reading
If you're reading my stuff, and you like it, I want to say thank you! And I'd like to say you that if you like my stuff, you might also like this list of people I'm about to give you.
And hey, if you're reading my stuff and you don't like it, I want to say, please let me know why! I can't improve if you don't give me that feedback. If you don't like my stuff, well, you might still like this list of people I'm about to give you.
See how that works? I'm stealthy and subtle. Exactly how a brick isn't.
So here's some folks to check out!
Mr. Michael Monroe is running his serialized novel (in publication at Shea Magazine) "Afterlife" over at afterlifeserial. Long running, very involved, chock full of adventure.
mrnelson007 is running his novel "Correspondence From The Goddess" over at goddesscorrespondence. Want a story of apotheosis, family, success, failure, and self-realization? Check this out.
"Genre Shift" by jheissner97 takes you through a series of alien worlds that aren't so alien after all. Having to cope with the reality of the world as defined by cinema lead our heroes through a highly unusual series of adventures.
New to this list is "The Reborn" by i-dlrivermoore. Is it about reincarnation? Is it about the trials and stresses of mental illness? It's too soon to tell, because she's just started! But let me tell you, she's off to a strong start, and I really think you'll like what you see here.
Great stuff here, all around. Go check them out!
We Knew You When: Michael Monroe
Hello everyone and welcome back to We Knew You When, "What do you mean it's not Friday!?" edition. Time has a bad habit of slipping away from me lately, I'm sorry to say.
This week's interview is with Michael Monroe, author of the Afterlife serial fiction and various other works.
