Varian is Jinx. I mean, duh. Child science aficionado who's inventions never work, has a complicated relationship with their older sister figure and destroyed everything even though they only wanted to help, was helpless at first but became a feared and ruthless criminal after everything fell apart? I mean, come on, that describes them both perfectly. Also, THE SAME DAMN SHADE OF BLUE and the purple–their aesthetics legit match so well. Jinx's voice fits Varian so well!!
S1 Varian is MU Powder, Villain arc + Saporian Varian is Jinx, S3 + Vat7k Varian is AU Powder.
Rapunzel as Vi. Okay, so maybe Raps is royalty and all, and she isn't an outright violence kind of person, but she didn't grow up in the palace, so she's more like a normal person, and she's a leader and protector. She wants to help people, but because of her parents and her newness to the kingdom she winds up staying in the castle instead of going back for Varian, like Vi when she becomes a piltover enforcer cause of Cait.
Cassandra as Caitlyn. They both want to become law enforcement, their grief related to mothers who they didn't get on with in life leads them to have a villain arc paralleling the Jinx/Varian character, they also both trust self centered bringers of destruction. Both have a dark blue theme. Also they are both very sapphic with the Vi/Raps character. Both also lived in piltover/the palace their whole lives, but were never the most powerful people there.
Eugene as Mylo. Sorry newdream shippers to put Raps and Eugene as siblings, but the similarities in personality are too much to ignore. Both are sarcastic lockpicking thief characters who tease the Powder/Varian character.
Lance as Claggor because they're both gentle giants with a brotherly relationship to the Mylo/Eugene character.
Quirin as Vander, was once a fighter but gave it up, appears to be a strong leader but too cowardly to stand up to the king/piltover.
Donella and Ulla as Vander (again) and Silco. Their whole betrayal thing is too good not to, and the similarities between Ulla/Silco and Varian/Jinx, also them being the ones Varian/Jinx run to after being betrayed.
Xavier is Benzo. Friends of the Vander/Quirin character, looks after the kids sometimes and has a shop.
Hugo as Ekko. Their relationship is with Vat7k Varian/Powder in this, not so much like MU arcane but they're a science duo and also each others best enemies.
(This is gonna hurt) Yong is Isha. The little kid who follows Varian/Jinx around and resembles their younger selves immensely.
Zhan Tiri and Demanitus as Viktor and Jayce, but in a universe where Jayce fails to make Viktor understand. The sundrop and moonstone and Demanitus' scroll are this universes version of hextech.
Andrew and the Saporians as Smeech and the chembarons. Considered making him Silco but the relationship between him and Varian is creepy and nothing like the familial relationship between Silco and Jinx.
