If you are a Mauraders fan and want to stop supporting JKR's blatant transfobia I would highly recommend: "A Great and Terrible Beauty" by Libba Bray (and the subsequent sequels)

It's like a gender-bent maurader's but the peter character is not a wannabe death eater and the wolfstar equivalent is cannonically queer - not implied.

i’m going to write a proper post on this soon, but @ trc fans, whilst you’re waiting for the ronan cycle to come out, why not check out ‘a great and terrible beauty’ by libba bray? it’s a victorian era, gothic tale of four girls (and one boy) who discover a strange and mysterious magical world whilst at their boarding school

content warnings for the series: suicide, rape, attempted rape, csa, racism, use of the g slur word, homophobia, sexism, classism, fatphobia, ableism, death (from what i can remember)

ALSO, please bear in mind that the first book came out in 2003, when the publishing world was not as agreeable towards books for young people featuring queer characters, so the queer content (whilst canonically there) cannot measure up to works being published today.
