An absorbing family drama revolving around two brothers (portrayed about as well as imaginable by Channing Tatum and Mark Ruffalo) that also ends up being one of the most in depth and indelible sports movies in recent memory.
Has to be based on a true story, otherwise the plot is dismissed as too unexplained or unbelievable, and is Gatsby-esque in the way it reflects certain American notions regarding incredible wealth, misguided ideas of exceptionalism, and predispositions towards violence.
