As someone who is wondering if I am agender, here are my agender headcanons for kids cartoon characters.

They all display not so much a discomfort with the gender identity of their assigned gender as such but a complete indifference to it, and they are definitely uncomfortable with some aspects of the gender presentation of their AGAB. All of these characters could also be read as trans masc.

so does Alix being nervous to come out to Kim and then he’s immediately just like “So can I call you A4 now” and occasionally just brings Alix a massive bundle of A4 paper as a joke

I think it's pretty funny how I never set out to be like "everyone on Team Voltron is trans," I just sort of... independently came up with non-cis headcanons for all the paladins until one day I stopped and went, "wait."

Allura's color scheme is the trans flag, so obviously she's trans.

I don't think I need to get into the narrative reasons why I hc Pidge as a trans girl.

"Brave men and women... and Lance." Yeah, it makes sense as a roast, but why pass up a non-binary/agender headcanon when it gets handed to you on a plate like that?

So there's this thing I've seen multiple times irl, where a closeted trans woman or nb/agender person who was amab will just start growing their hair out, except, like, they're closeted? maybe not even out to themself yet? so instead of actually getting it shaped they just kinda... stop going to get it cut, and it grows into this little half-mullet thing in the back and all messy bangs in the front, and then it's like plausible deniability, like "no, no, I'm not trying to look less masculine, I'm just lazy/broke/haven't had time to get it cut, THAT'S why it's like this, nOTHing to do with how uncomfortable having it short makes me and/or this secret longing I've always had for long hair" and then like three years later i run into them and they're like "yeah lol so I'm not a boy" anyway yeah that's Keith

I just kind of vibe with Hunk on a genderqueer level

I remember one day thinking, "hey, wouldn't it be neat if Shiro was a trans man" and the answer was, of course, "yes"

If you’re taking headcanons, Luna is aro, ace and agender. They don’t care much for love or sex (neutral on both) and choose to spend their time researching mythical creatures and Ancient Runes. R

We’re always taking headcanons.

Luna who takes a year of Ancient Runes with Professor Babbling and enjoys it (especially when Babbling lends them original texts about ancient creatures). They only do the one year though. It’s much easier to study the topics they like and work on learning runes from other cultures and different millennia if they don’t have to worry about endless parchments of essays on assigned topics.

Luna who feels a warm tingle in their chest whenever they read about ancient magical cultures that recognized trans, nonbinary, and agender wixen, or aro and ace wixen.

Luna who can finally travel wherever they want after the defeat of the Dark Lord. They write regular Quibbler columns about their research and discoveries related to creatures, runes, aromanticism, asexuality, gender, and more. A few years later they move onto writing books, and they eventually match (and surpass) long-held bestseller numbers by their fellow Ravenclaw Gilderoy Lockhart.
