Hello dear! This is kind of random, but I was wondering if you or any of your followers happen to know the brand and shade of lipstick Daisy Ridley wore in MOTOE? Thanks!

Hi and thanks for such a great question! :D I’m not sure about the exact brand and shade but we know Daisy’s makeup artist on Murder on the Orient Express was Wakana Yoshihara, head of makeup and hair department. She’s talked about Daisy’s makeup on her instagram here. She says Daisy made a surprise birthday cake for her. :)

In the comments on the pic Yoshihara thanks several brands she used for her “ingredients” in Daisy’s makeup, including MAC, Clé de Peau BEAUTÉ-SHISEIDO and DHC. My bet is on MAC being the lipstick you’re looking for but you can always ask Yoshihara herself via instagram, she seems very sweet and friendly. She’s worked with Kenneth Branagh on several projects. MOTOE make-up/hair designer Carol Hemming says in this article Yoshihara “took care of the nuts and bolts of production on a daily basis, while I usually had my hands full with Poirot.” So, I think Yoshihara is the person to go to for any specific questions regarding the makeup on the MOTOE actresses.
