any chance you could share the psd you used for your beautiful gifs?

I almost never actually save any PSDs for my gifs. I should, the one time I did was for the love series that let me create the bestie series and that was great fun. 

But most of my gifs are artisanal one of a kind *twirls non-existent mustache*. 

I tried a couple template type PSDs but I find I spend as much time futzing with those as just doing each one new. Plus I always save at the wrong place in the process, then change my mind about what size I want to do or where I want to cut scenes...

Basically I follow the techniques I learned from @fringeofmadness in these great tutorials. The using a solid color layer set to divide technique is my favorite tool in my arsenal. The trick is playing with the layer until you’re happy. Then playing with additional adjustments. And then deciding fuck it, export to gif, and post. 

TL;DR - would people be interested if I did a tutorial on how I make gifs? Not sure if it would be easier to just try to capture as a video or do a text tutorial or what.

I love Dominion as much as I love Hannibal. I planned to while away the time waiting for Hannibal's return by watching Dominion. Dominion has great potential. So broken hearted it was cancelled. But I'm not giving up without a fight.

Maybe Hannibal has a chance? Fuller is going to work on American Gods (GET HYPE) but after that it could return, right?

at the risk of sounding entirely dumb, could you tell me about Michael's sacrifice? Did he really die that easily? Did he really die?? Or just pretending? Aren't angels hard to kill? And Michael kills himself with a stab to his heart with a regular blade? How???? OMG please help a fan out... I really need to know :(

Okay well I’d always assumed that Michael knew a normal blade to the heart wasn’t going to kill him. And I think Vaun confirmed that in what he said in the after show?

Higher angels, especially archangels, are damn hard to kill and the only thing we know of, so far, that can do it is Empyrean steel. So a normal knife will injure them, but it will heal back up pretty soon. And what would be a killing knife blow for a human will incapacitate an archangel for a while (seeming like they “die”… maybe their heart even stops for a bit, who knows?) but they will revive and the wound will heal.

As to whether Michael was “pretending” or not when he “died”… I don’t know. I don’t know if an injury like that - being stabbed in the heart - would ordinarily incapacitate an archangel like that or if normally he could shake it off and keep going but he “let” himself “die”, knowing he would revive.

Fingers crossed, all will be revealed as the season continues. :)

I will be scheduling my tweets (I'm one of the unlucky Fannibals who cannot watch live & cannot live stream - boo) but I have to ask. Do RTs count in trending? Because the least that I can do besides tweeting is retweeting anything with #savehannibal.

I don’t think they do, and I’m reading from other people that they don’t. 

I’m also hearing that you shouldn’t use the word “trend” in your Tweets either? Not sure about that one.

In any case, I think it’s best to make your own with both #hannibal and #savehannibal. : ‘ )

Anyone who knows better than I do, please chime in! I’m not very familiar with Twitter.

Why do you think Hannibal exonerates Will? Is there any rhyme or reason to that?

I did talk a little more about his last conversation with Will in the asylum here, and I reference some of that in this post, so you might want to read it first.

Hannibal wants to set Will free. Will really is a killer in Hannibal’s mind now, and Will knows everything about Hannibal as well, which means that Hannibal is two thirds of the way to achieving his dream. 

Hannibal’s dream is to be really understood by someone with the capacity to see him and appreciate him—as only Will can—and in spite of (or because of) this understanding, still care for him. Will has the understanding and the appreciation—cultivated in their intimacy in their previous relationship and now through Will’s own willingness to commit murder, though he’s definitely angry at Hannibal for the moment and might need a little nudging to commit murder on a regular basis (details, details).

All Hannibal has left to do is to win Will’s friendship back, and that will be much easier if he helps Will rebuild his life, starting with rectifying the problems he caused by getting Will sent to prison. So, step one: get Will out of prison.

(Step two…therapy? Clandestine meetings behind Alana’s back? Find more ways to implicate Will in murder? Kill two birdies with one stone, there, if he manages it. Who knows.)

But mostly, I think he just wants to unleash this new, focused, killer-in-control Will Graham on an unsuspecting world. That’s really exciting. Wouldn’t you be curious what would happen, what he would do…how many more people will be hurt by he does?

Edited to add: I'd be curious to see if he'd cover his tracks by finding a way to "disappear" Matthew Brown.
