Revekka walked into the little boutique, smiling at the receptionist and giving her name and appointment time. Natasha was with her, as was Alex and Rhaine and JJ.
The saleswoman led the group to a grouping of chairs, before asking a few questions. How much she was looking at spending (no limit), what colour (white with a colour accent), what style (floor length), and a few questions about him.
Revekka grinned, telling the saleswoman, Kristina, about her fiancé. She talked about how they met, and how he'd proposed, and all the details of the wedding so far.
Kristina listened, smiling and commenting where necessary. Then, she left Natasha, Alex, Rhaine, and JJ at the sitting area, and took Rev to go scout some dresses. Ten minutes later, Rev had seven dresses to try, all different styles and shapes.
The first dress was beautiful, and made Rev tear up, because it was really hitting her that she was getting married. The next three dresses were not the right one, the fifth dress was a possibility, and the sixth and seventh dresses were completely wrong.
It was the eighth dress, one that Kristina had brought over as a guess, that was it. Revekka slid the silky fabric on, and fell in love. It was perfect, and it was a classic moment, where there were tears involved. She walked out of the dressing room to show her friends and son, and she knew, without a doubt, that this was the dress she was getting married in.
