Prompt: It's Halloweens and remus wannas goes to a horror maze whiles smalls but virgils scare so Janus and Logan work together to helps

Virgil and Remus were supposed to be napping. Supposed. In actuality Remus was drawing out his big idea for a haunted maze that they, the two little and their caregivers, could go to. It wasn’t Remus’ fault that he was too excited to nap!

Virgil on the other hand was entirely too tired to deal with Remus keeping him up, he was just a little guy after all. However after Remus let out a happy squeal after finishing his project Virgil jumped and started crying, as the poor baby was easily startled.

Janus walked in and sighed at the sight in front of him before going to scoop up Virgil. He gently patted Virgil’s bottom “shhh it’s ok spiderling, no need to cry” he hummed softly and rocked the overgrown toddler. Logan then walked in too and saw Remus out of bed, coloring. Remus at least had the decency to look sheepish.

“Remus, what did you do?” Logan said fondly, he didn’t have it in him to truly be angry at the kid. It wasn’t his fault he had an overactive imagination and had a hard time napping or staying quiet.

“Nothing papa!” Remus immediately lowered his voice at the pointed look Logan gave him “sorry papa but really, I was just drawin and came up with a really good idea for a haunted maze for us to go in and and I squealed cuz happy stim and then I woke up the baby. I’m sorry”

“Buddy, it’s ok thank you for the apology, how about we go in the living room and after dada finishes calming down your baby brother we look over your drawing together? Does that sound good?” Remus immediately jumped up, very excited by that prospect and ran to the living room. Logan chuckled fondly and walked after the hyperactive little.

Soon after, Janus followed suit, the now calmed Virgil in his arms. His eyes were still a bit teary but he was okay now. “So kid, what’s this I hear about your haunted maze?” Janus said, sitting next to Logan on the couch as Virgil crawled into Logan’s lap and Remus crawled into Janus’.

“Well dada! I’m so glad you asked! I drawed us all going to a haunted maze and it was so scary you pooped your pants! And papa got so scared he punched somebody! And me and baby vee completed the maze and and we won a prize! And there’s so many zombies and skeletons and guys with chainsaws trying to chop your heads off!” Remus seemed really proud of his idea but Virgil on the other hand started crying again.

Logan started rocking Virgil as Virgil whined “I…I don wan people cuts our heads off!!” He sobbed loudly. Remus whined as well “but it’s not real vee! It’s just pretend.” That seemed to help Virgil a little. “How about we make the maze a little less scary ree? Just so Virgil can enjoy it too? I promise as soon as you’re both big again we can go to a very scary one” Remus pouted at Logan’s words. “Fineeee but I better get to keep the severed fingies!” Remus giggled. Janus blinked and frowned “absolutely not ree, that’s not happening. I love you but we aren’t putting any real body parts in this maze. How about we make some severed finger cookies instead?” Janus quickly added the cookie part because he could tell Remus was going to throw a fit over his words.

Remus still pouted but nodded, he was hungry anyways. “Ok dada, after that can we go to the haunted maze? Pleaseeeee?” Janus nodded “sure honey, how about Vee, you, and I go do that while papa and Roman work on making this maze for us?” The boys seemed excited so that’s exactly what they did.

It was now a couple hours later, the boys wound up needing a bath and another nap after cookie making so it was closer to sunset. Remus was dressed in his zombie rat costume and Virgil was dressed in a cute spider onesie. He felt comfortable enough to walk as long as either his papa or dada held his hand so they were all walking together to the maze.

Remus had tried to run off three separate times so his caregivers forced him into a leash backpack. “Ok baby we are here do you want to be picked up?” Virgil shook his head no at Janus “m a big boy dada!!” Logan smiled at him and ruffled his hair.

Just then a zombie jumped out of the maze at them. It spooked Virgil a little so he clung to the side of his dada a little more but Remus seemed happy enough so they kept going. Virgil seemed to get braver as they kept going and Remus was excited by that, happy his baby brother wasn’t being a scaredy cat anymore.

Just as Remus turned around to look at his papa and dada another zombie jumped out at them. Virgil squealed and ran to his dada but was giggling, he thought it was funny. However Remus, not expecting it, jumped and started crying. He plopped down and was suddenly not the brave big 6 year old anymore but a frightened baby who needed his papa.

Logan was quick to scoop Remus up and hold him “oh baby doll it’s okay, shhhh it’s alright darling” he hummed a little lullaby to Remus. Remus’ crying also startled Virgil who began to tear up and reach for his (now) baby brother. “Dada he’s cwyin! Poor baby gotta help him!” Janus smiled fondly at Virgil “I know baby he’s just a little spooked. How about we head home and come back another day?” Virgil adamantly said no to that “ree ree was soooo excited!! We can’t leave without finishin da maze! And gettin da prize! For baby!!!”

The two caregivers looked suprised at that, thinking Virgil would want to leave but nodded anyways “okay spider we can finish the maze” Janus said following after the now determined young boy.

Remus let out soft coos and attempted to eat Logan’s tie whilst they walked. Logan, very fond of the baby in his arms, just let him do so. Once they found the end of the maze both boys let out happy squeals. Happily claiming their prizes (a squid themed paci and a stuffed spider) they headed home to be coddled and doted on by their caregivers.

who gets soso sleepy when he's little, and will curl into either sirius or james or even peter when he's sitting still for long enough (jittery peter supremacy), and nuzzles into their warmth and makes their hearts all melt into puddles every time

who needs help eating big foods so siri makes his Remus Lupin Specialty Toast™ just the way he likes it, four peices with four spreads

who regresses to maybe 4-8, usually when he feels safe or calm, but sometimes when he's super stressed and he always feels guilty when he gets big again despite nobody ever EVER feeling bothered by lil remu

who loves to sound out big words with lily, sometimes without even knowing what they mean because 1) they sound pretty and 2) she has the funniest laugh whenever he says them wrong or with a cute accent

who snuggles with padfoot and at one point, while asleep, kneads his hands into pads like how cats do when they're stretching (siri was never the same omgggg)

who gets super playful sometimes when he's little, n will often try to brainstorm pranks w the gang (it gets too tricky though and he naps instead)

who'll sit and giggle watching his cartoons and marlene paints his bitty nails and mary brushes his hair (it's not tangled or anything, he just loves the feel)

who feels safe around his friends and often gets small n soft around them and they never find him annoying because they know he feels comfortable, and they love him being HIM

regresses to cope with his childhood being taken away by his turning and also at his foster home and all the trauma he's been through

doesn't like using much kiddo gear, but borrows some of james' stuffies and makes them play together

Mac and Cheese

Word Count: 582

Everyone was hanging out in the living room and chatting. Remus gently shoved his brother while smiling.

Roman gasped and dramatically collapsed to the floor. "I've died! I'm dead!" Remus gasped and poked Roman with his foot "wake uppppp"

Roman stayed still on the floor. Remus whined and layed on top of Roman while sobbing. Roman wrapped his arms around Remus "shhh it's okay baby"

Remus cooed softly "daddy otay?" He said softly "daddy is okay baby boy"

Janus walked over to Logan and whispered in his ear. Logan smiled and picked up Janus before sitting down next to Roman and Remus.

Remus looked over at Janus and gasped before pulling him into him "a baby?! Daddy it's a baby?!!"

Roman and Logan laughed "that's right baby, Janus is your little snake sibling"

Remus happily kissed janus' cheek and giggled "my baby!"

Janus cooed softly and snuggled into Remus. "Okay babies daddy and papa need to change you into something more comfy, yeah?" Logan said scooping Janus back up

Roman smiled and picked up Remus "how does that sound little rat?" Remus giggled happily and nodded.

Roman and Logan carried their babies to their nursery. Roman layed Remus down on the changing table "okay baby what do you wanna wear?"

"Wan wear dwess! Peassss???" Roman chuckled "of course honey, how old are you?" Roman asked grabbing remus' favorite dress "m 4 daddy!"

Roman nodded and grabbed a pull up, which Remus whined at "I know baby but it's for just in case" Roman said, changing Remus before picking him up.

"Your turn baby snake" Logan said laying janus down where Remus used to be "what do you wanna wear little one?" Janus babbled and pointed to his snake onesie.

Logan smiled and also grabbed a diaper, picking Janus up once he was done. "Okay! Time for dinner!" Roman said, carrying Remus downstairs, Logan and Janus following them.

"What do you wanna eat baby?" Roman asked sitting Remus on the counter. "Wan mac n cheese!" Roman chuckled and got out the box Mac and cheese "okay kiddo"

"I'll make drinks," Logan said, grabbing a bottle and a sippy cup. "What do you wanna drink Remus?"

Remus kicked his legs and smiled "juice peas!" Logan nodded and grabbed the juice and milk, sitting Janus next to Remus "protect your baby brother okay little duke?"

Remus nodded and immediately held onto Janus "my baby brother!" Logan and Roman smiled fondly, finishing their respective tasks.

"Dinner!!!" Remus said excitedly "that's right little octopus!" Roman said picking Remus up and carrying him to the table, Logan doing the same with Janus.

They sat the two in highchairs before giving them both bowls of macaroni. Remus happily ate his macaroni. Janus just stared at his.

Logan chuckled and fed Janus "there you go little snake" Janus happily ate his macaroni.

Remus quickly finished and made rabby hands at Roman. Roman scooped up Remus, Remus yawning in Romans hold. "Aw is it my little duke's bedtime?"

Remus nodded, tired from the day he had. "Okay kiddo let's go upstairs and get you changed"

Logan smiled at them before scooping up Janus and feeding him his bottle. "Are you tired too little baby?" Janus just yawned in response.

Logan chuckled "okay baby let's go put you to bed" Logan said carrying Janus upstairs and laying in bed with them. Roman and Remus walked in and joined. "Nini daddys" Remus said softly "night night baby" Roman and Logan said in response.

Remus was crying in his room by himself, everyone else was loved. They liked everyone else when they were around. But him, oh no Sanders forbid he was around.

He was tiny and he wanted his daddy but his daddy was far busier filming with his friends than to hang out with him.

He missed his daddy so much.

Comfort Items

Hey guys! This story is in honor of @babygirlcleo! Happy Birthday Cleo! Hope you enjoy :)

Virgil was annoyed at Roman. He was being sooo annoying! Virgil just wanted to play in peace!

"Go 'way princy! Leave me 'lone!" Virgil yelled at Roman. "We do not take that tone in this house young man! What do you say?"

"No! No you bein annoyin an that gotta stop!" Virgil yelled again. "That's it if you can't behave I'm taking your toy for the rest of the day."

Virgil humphed, ignoring Roman. He could go without one measly toy. But then Roman grabs Virgil's stuffed rabbit and fidget cube.

He tried not to let it show he was freaking out. Because those were his comfort items! He needed them! Why did princy take them?

Virgil worked himself to tears. He hopped up quickly and ran to his bedroom. He forgot to close the door as he hid in his closet. He cried and sobbed wishing he had his comfort items or even just a blankie.

Remus and Janus had been playing together in the mindscape. They were running and jumping and having a grand old time. This came to a stop though when they heard crying. Not just any crying but Virgil's crying.

They looked at each other and rushed to Virgil's room. They saw the door open and immediately knew he was little too. They were both going to kill, or as well as two children with no weapons could, whoever hurt Virgil.

"Vee? You okay?" Janus asked as he approached the closet. "Why are you crying? Who do I have to kill?" Remus said angrily.

Virgil softly laughed and they both smiled. If they could hear that laugh every day they would!

"M cryin cuz I was mad at princy and he got upset back n took my stuffie, the one you got me, an my fidget cube. Now I no got comfort items n I don know where blankie is either n now m jus sad"

Remus and Janus were about ready to smack Roman. Janus carefully, as carefully as a child could, picked up Virgil and sat him on his bed. Remus rushed out of the room and came back a few minutes later, triumphantly holding Virgil's blankie.

Vee made grabby hands at it, and as soon as he had it wrapped himself in a little blanket burrito and curled up happily.

Remus and Janus smiled at Virgil before rushing down the stairs to where Roman was, still in the living room.

"Roman!" They both shouted. "What is it, little snake and duke?" Roman said as if he hadn't done something wrong.

"You did something very bad! You took vee's comfort item! You can't do that! Even if he was bad you can't do that!" Janus said angrily.

Remus meanwhile snuck up and grabbed the comfort items and ran back over to Janus. "Get in time out Roman! It's not okay to do this!" Remus said before he and Janus rushed up the stairs to where Virgil was.

"Vee! Here!" Remus said giving Virgil is stuffed rabbit, Shadow, and sitting his fidget cube on the nightstand next to his bed. They both got in bed with Virgil and curled up together happily.

~Extra~

Logan and Patton came back to the mindscape after a long day of helping Thomas. What they didn't expect to see was Roman sitting on the time out step alone.

"What are you doing Roman?" Roman looked up at Logan having been sitting alone there for the past 15 minutes. "Well the little ones, Remus and Janus, put me in time out because I was mean to Virgil"

Patton and Logan looked at each other both smiling a bit. "Well Roman you know the rules! No being mean, especially not to Virgil."

Prompt-ish: I'm going to write something where little Remus calls Roman, Roo because I think it's cute and no one can stop me-

Roman was working on the script for the next Sanders Sides video when he heard a soft knock on the door.

"Hello?" He called. Most of the sides never bothered him while he was script writing unless it was important or time to eat.

"Roo?" He heard a soft voice say. He immediately hopped up, smiling at the soft voice he knew belonged to his baby brother.

He opened the door and saw Remus standing there making grabby hands at him. "Hi there baby boy," Roman said, picking up Remus in his arms.

"Hewwo," Remus said, giggling happily. Roman smiled at the adorable child. "And why do I get the pleasure of seeing my adorable baby on such a fine day?"

Remus giggled at Romans words "Miss chu n gotted smaw so wan see u!" Remus said, pressing a paci kiss to Romans cheek.

Roman smiled "Well I'm glad my baby is here to see me! Now honey, let's get you into some more comfy clothes" Remus squealed softly at that.

Roman walked over to his drawer where most of Remus' little clothing was. "How old are you feeling today bubba?"

"M two!" Remus said proudly, holding up two fingers. "My my such a big boy! Would my big boy like a onesie?" Remus giggled and nodded.

Roman grabbed out Remus' raccoon onesie and laid it on the bed "Okay honey, I know you don't like this but do you need a diaper?"

Remus whined, unhappy about needing a diaper but nodding a bit anyways "Okay honey, that's okay" Roman said, pulling out a diaper as well.

Roman grabbed a towel and laid it on the bed before laying Remus on top of it. Roman carefully took remus' normal clothes off, sitting them neatly to the side, before changing the boy into his diaper and onesie. "We are all done baby boy!"

Remus smiled happily, wiggling a bit from his excitement. Roman smiled and wrapped Remus in a blanket. "Now my little Joey is in my pouch"

Remus giggled "Roo!" Roman chuckled "Mhm! That's me baby boy!"

"Now little one, do you need anything?" Roman asked bouncing Remus gently in his arms.

"Bo'l?" Remus said burying his face in the crook of Romans neck. "Of course little one, let's go"

Roman carried Remus down into the kitchen, gently sitting the boy down on the counter. Remus whined not liking the fact that his Roo sat him down.

"I know baby boy, I know but I can't make your bottle when I have an arm full of adorable Joey" That made Remus giggle happily.

Roman smiled and started making remus' his cinnamon milk. It was his favorite thing to drink at this age and if he did want something else for some reason he would have mentioned it by now. Roman quickly put it in the microwave, heating it up to a safe temperature before pulling it back out.

Roman scooped Remus up into his arms before carrying the boy back to his room, sitting down with him in his lap.

Remus opened his mouth, thirsty and wanting Roman to feed him. Roman smiled and stuck the nipple of the bottle into remus' mouth.

"Are you feeling smaller, baby?" Remus nodded shyly before continuing to drink his milk. "That's okay little one, I've got you"

Roman carried Remus back to his room and rocked the boy in his lap while he fed him.

Remus yawned a bit and curled up to Roman. "Is my little baby sleepy? Hm? Is it someone's nap time?" Remus nodded a bit, yawning some more.

Roman smiled and grabbed Remus a paci and gently popped it in the boy's mouth. "Night night my little joey"
