Gruff caregivers

~Caregivers who don’t always say the “right things”

~Caregivers who don’t participate in every activity with their kiddo but they sit near them working on their own projects.

~Caregivers who don’t constantly verbalize how much they care but show it through things like food, and picking up toys, or taking their little one places.

~Caregivers who don’t constantly coo and fuss and baby talk, but still talk to babies assuming they are being understood.

~Caregivers who never raised children, who don’t have the resources and foreknowledge but are trying.

~Caregivers who can’t afford all the gear for their little and make do with homemade toys (bonus points if they are able to create, sew, or build toys themselves)
