If you say you have no connection to traumagenic systems, then stop using their language. "Alters," "systems," "switching"—they are not your silly little roleplay labels. They come from documented psychiatric conditions with specific diagnostic criteria. you do NOT get to strip the disorder out of a cdd and keep the vocabulary like its some sort of.. costume.

And your stupid fucking contradictions don't stop there. You say, no, INSIST, you're non-disordered, not disabled whatsoever. Cool. Whatever. Then why are you trying to occupy space in medical discussions, diagnostic manuals, and/or even clinical conversations at all? The DSM and ICD exist solely to classify medical problems. If you are, by your OWN DEFINITION, not disordered, then you do not belong there. You cannot reject the medical basis and then demand to be there.

You're hypocrites. Throwing around words like "ableist" and "sysmeds" while participating in a movement that actively blurs and undermines the reality of pwcdds is backwards. Ableism, by definition, is discrimination against DISABLED PEOPLE. If you are claiming to be non-disordered, then you are also claiming to not be apart of that disabled group. Using an accusation against people who are rightfully upset about you wearing their disability like a costume, it comes off less like advocacy and more so deflection. you KNOW you’re being ableist towards pwcdds, but sure, I'll let you cover your ears and go "lalalalala I cant hear you!"

Everyone has parts. That's basic psychology. Things like internal family systems, or even code-switching explain it just fine. It is a normal range of a human experience, but it doesn't immediately mean you have alters. It is not the same as a dissociative identity states formed through trauma. You don't wake up one day and decide to have alters because you learned about cdds through tiktok. That's not how dissociation works, and its not something you can will into existence. You are applying names to you code-switching in different areas of your life.

If there's are no dissociative barrier, there are no alters.

I guarantee you, that if you go to a psychologist, ask them to test you.. they will tell you that you're experiencing psychotic symptoms. They can tell through those tests if you're lying or not. No, psychotic symptoms don't mean you're 'plural', it means you need the proper medication to not go crazy from identity.

At the end of the day, it spreads harmful misinformation and makes it so much harder for pwcdds to be taken seriously.
