I’m sorry, Mr. Troll, I’m afraid I’m not very good at this comforting thing. I wasn’t particularly Kitty Wilde’s biggest fan, but it’s always sad to see people leave, and she was a fellow Ravenclaw -- a very talented one at that, since she was in charge of the newspaper. I give you my sympathies, and if I’m not too busy with birthday plans, I can try to come read you a story later.

How do you feel about Kitty?

She’s a little bit intimidating, anonymous, and I’m not sure she likes me very much, but I can’t expect everyone to. I’m terrified. I’m so, so scared to try out for the newspaper and put myself at her mercy only to have her tell me my writing’s terrible and that all my pouring my soul out onto the pages of my journals means nothing.

I know I don't say this a lot but I love you. You're my best friend and I know I always give you a hard time about not measuring up to Lily but you do. You're in a class of your own too. There's been things you've helped me with this past year that I haven't even been able to tell Lily and I don't know what I'd do without you. You're my family and with everything that's happened, I don't know what I'd do without you.
