Dove Cameron as Bekah Cotter in Dumplin’ (2018)
smash mouth - i’m a believer
luceweasley:
I love soup so absolutely yes. Becclaw you know I could never say no to you, food and silly movies. Come on over.
Say no more, I’m already on my way! But beware, watching Austenland may have you begging me to go visit someplace like this for fun. I don’t need to fall in love, obviously, since I have Olly and he’s better than Darcy, but it could still be an entertaining weekend.

Lily: Merry Christmas! Hope you have a great day.
Becca: Merry Christmas to you, too, Lily! And happy Hanukkah and New Year, since Merlin, was I bad at checking my phone during the holidays this year!
luceweasley:
Definetly something I caught from one the patients, I think. And take out for you would be very welcomed Becca!
Are you in the mood for soup? There’s a place near me that serves great tomato or chicken noodle, or other broth-based soups that should help. Oh, and I can bring over silly movies to watch; I’m really into Austenland right now, if you have any interest in watching it.
luceweasley:
I find it so ironic that I’m a Healer trainee, as is my roommate, and yet I find myself so sick. I think I’ve grown immune to pain potions. Some send help. And maybe a lot of food because getting up to cook sounds exhausting.
Oh, no! I’m so sorry to hear that; I can bring you over take out, if you want, but anything I tried to make home made would just make you even sicker. Do you think you caught something from one of the patients at the hospital? There’s probably a lot of germs floating around there!

Francine: That could be it which is kind of against the entire origin of the holiday in general. But I doubt any of them truly care and if they do, they dress up in the comforts of their home. I don't blame you since I think if you did justify it, people would probably start to wonder if you've gone mental.
Francine: ....... Covered in bark now sounds more appealing than the idea of wearing a track suit. Or a brown dress with a nice green clown wig. Tree-ish enough. See, I would never have that amount of luck and would have to wait until masks come off to find people. Especially since things could get real awkward if say you kissed someone thinking it was someone else.
Becca: Dressing up at home sounds so sad! I want the whole world to be able to see my costume. Although I guess if you live in the right community, trick or treaters stop by - I've never actually been at home to pass out candy to them, I was always still out GETTING candy instead :-p
Becca: Omg LOL track suits are surprisingly comfortable but I feel like such a fraud wearing them when I know that I'm not athletic in any way shape or form. Oh! That would be pretty, minus the clown wig. You could try the spell I used on my hair last fall, only not have someone sabotaging you to keep your hair purple longer :-p Omg I will definitely wait for kissing when we're unmasked this time, yikes!
I actually kinda like Pucey; he’s a funny kid.
Maybe it’s better if we just stop here.
Head Girl doesn’t guarantee that she’s good at Quidditch! Although she is pretty good at it so I guess I’ll give you that one. Uh huh… and yet it still kinda screams snake, if you ask me.
You’re aware that I’m friends with several Slytherins, right? Your gross generalizations may apply to a random few, like Ben Pucey, but they’re really not true about people like Lauren, or Isabel, or Lysander, or... Need I continue?

Francine: I don't think so? I mean, it's nothing my parents ever mentioned so I imagine most Ministry balls are Christmas-y ones and for select people. I guess it's because some don't really care about that sort of thing and prefer to just spend it on their own. I really want to say stealing the souls of small children but that seems a bit drastic. :p He seems like the chess type so maybe that??
Francine: You would have REALLY chosen to dress as a tree even though you were only going to sit and read? That sounds horribly uncomfortable. Do you have any idea of how you're going to find Oliver at the ball, though?
Becca: I suppose those are more 'mature' holidays that everyone celebrates, and Halloween is unfortunately seen as juvenile, even in the wizarding world. !!!!!! It seems accurate, unfortunately. Even I can't think of a way to try and justify any of his bad behavior anymore, and I tried not to just automatically assume the worst like some of my friends did.
Becca: You don't have to actually be covered in bark! You could just be a tree in a track suit. There are creative ways to do it. But I don't know, actually - I hadn't thought about it. Last year we just... managed to find each other. I suppose I was trusting fate to do the same for us again this year.
Is there anyone you'd use Avada Kedavra on?
Not at the moment, but ask me again if any permanent damage is ever done to any of my friends. The temptation to hurt someone after Olly was attacked was very strong, after all.
What was the best part of your summer vacation?
Paris with Kelsey! A close second was my birthday surprise for @oliverhopkins, though.
No offense taken, intense is a compliment, if you ask me. Rosie’s a good teacher, but I’m totally going to check on your progress, this is a serious mission, Goldstein. Cunning’s for Slytherins anyway, glad you’re being straightforward.
I’m not sure that Rose needs supervision; she was a Hogwarts head girl, Gracie, she’s highly qualified. Cunning doesn’t have to be limited to Slytherins. People from all houses can possess it, even if it’s not their predominant personality trait.

Francine: I do too 'cause other plans seem boring in comparison. I don't know why it would but he strikes me as the type that would be like 'you graduated, go be a responsible adult. adults don't party' or something just to gain his own entertainment.
Francine: Stop encouraging the tree costume industry with this horrible statement, Becca! That's a very good point but even though I liked her, it's just not for me. Would you ever go as a tree, though?
Becca: Does the Ministry hold any kind of Halloween ball for employees and their friends and family? It seems silly adults are deprived of any kind of gala of their own, but I doubt it would be as fun as Hogwarts, anyway. Professor MacNair must do something for fun sometime, too, right? What do you suppose it is?
Becca: I'm sorry! Trees would also make great costumes for people who want to stand on the sidelines and read, though. Which isn't me anymore, now that I have someone to dance with ^_^ But I would have appreciated it in the past!
