Ever since I got clearance to start working out again after my #hernia surgery and recovery, I’ve done what I can to make my #homegym as effective as possible, without dumping a ton of money into huge machines or gear. Simple things, like a #powertower, #weights and a bench get the job done, while playing with gravity. Currently, I’m participating in a #fitness challenge organized and prompted by the creator of the #P90X series, @tonyshorton, alongside others who are challenging themselves across the globe. 22-30 minute workouts; 6 days a week. This is just what I needed to get back into shape and build my body into optimal operating condition. Yesterday’s #complexupper workout was tough as hell, and the fact that a 30 minute routine took an hour to finish (I took a lot of breaks) showed me just how much more work I need to do.
