The two bright silhouettes in these panels have to be connected or something, they’re in the same pose, which feels very visually telling. That and I feel like they’re responsible for the Great Divide, just because the pieces of the old world seem to be falling onto them, like this was their doing etc.

A part of me thinks this could potentially be Clockwork, he’s making amends by putting the pieces in place for some kind of unity to be made between humans and ghosts again. Maybe (hopefully) not in the exact same way where both worlds are one, but where the two realms can co-exist peacefully as they had done before.

That or it’s the first half-ghost that did it, still not sure if everyone was once a half-ghost originally and I’m not a big fan of that theory tbh. It feels a bit too fantasy, even for Danny Phantom. That and if there were a bunch of Half-Ghosts it makes Danny and Vlad feel less special/unique and that they’re just artificial counterparts. I like the fact they’re just this super rare, impossible phenomenon. If it turns out “we all should have been like this” it feels kind of lame knowing Danny and Vlad are basically “the norm.”

It would make more sense if it was just Ghosts and Humans lived together then a war broke out between them, something about misunderstanding or just fear of the unknown and so on. That’s normally how wars go anyway, so…

That and I still have my own Aether AU until the answers are given, if I don’t like the answers given then that’s fine too, the Phandom’s always been a place to explore the alternative routes. Not gonna hate on what the answers may be either, just be thoroughly disappointed if the answers normalise the most interesting aspects of the show. There’s a difference between explanation and normalising something.
