A mind map / brainstorming session on how could refugee children and children from disadvantaged backgrounds benefit from play and community activities.
Visiting the Picpa center on Leros, islands mid-September 2017. In this center (previously a mental health hospital), refugee families, and unaccompanied minors are hosted. These families, and minors spend around 8 months to a year, while they wait to either be reunited with their families, or get a residency pass in Greece.

Mapping out ideas and concepts, about how could both children from refugee communities and greek children from disadvantaged backgrounds, benefit from an activity (artistic / educational / recreational).
Creating a moodboard, with images from Greece and other cultures, with inspiring art / fashion / architecture.
Visiting a local shops on a Greek island, where I found old traditional products, such as handmade soaps, made from Olive Oil, as well as manufactured goods, such as jelly-”grapes”, sold in tourist shops.
