New AGNS Design Competition Presentations
The art district in Halifax, Nova Scotia is to be a "welcoming and inclusive public gathering place." Over the summer, three consultant teams have developed visions to accomplish just that. They have presented designs for the new Art Gallery of Nova Scotia as part of a Waterfront Arts District in a bid to compete for the final contract. Transsolar is part of one of the teams, along with KPMB Architects with Omar Ganhi Architect, Jordan Bennett Studio, Elder Lorraine Whitman (NWAC), and Public Work. The presentations of the submissions of three finalists can be viewed on September 24th at 6pm AT in a live-stream and your feedback is welcome! This is your chance to help shape the future of art in Nova Scotia. The teams and their design can be previewed here: https://www.artgalleryofnovascotia.ca/artsdistrict
