Over the years, a number of really kind people have made the decision to donate money on my Bandcamp page. It's always touching and surprising, and I'm never sure how to thank people, but I think I can start by sharing a story from today. With some notable exceptions, these tend to be amounts between $5-20, and Bandcamp sends them all to a PayPal account I made in college and don't like to access if I don't have to. So I have tended to let these stay there until I need them. This month, I needed them (I will be ok! It's not cause for worry, it has just been a bit hairy) and I opened that account to find close to $350 staring at me. I doubt any of the kind people who chose to throw $5 in support of my little projects imagined where it would end up, but that money really, really made a difference this month. Anyway uh. I'm going to be alright, this is just me saying 1: When you choose to support artists, this is the kind of thing they experience 2: Thank you! Ah!!!
