Perth five piece Ah Trees describe themselves as a band who blends aspects of new wave, funk, psych, & pop to create their unique brand of sound. While they’re a new discovery for me today, the Ah Trees has already garnered some national radio play back home in Australia with their prior singles. As they prepare for a debut album set to drop this November, they reveal lead single Team Sports, a plucky chugging, dark grooving number that feels like some chilled out Foals with a touch of early The Rapture and Two Doors Cinema Club. There’s no doubt I’ll be keeping an eye out for Ah Trees’ self titled debut album as November approaches.

Perth 5-piece Ah Trees unleash some star dusted new wave with Bodies. It’s a stellar listening experience with textured sounds and boundless vocals. So far they have only put out one track but I am dying to hear more. Check em above!
