✧ - The Leopard Seal is the second largest species of Seal found in the Antarctic. Female leopard seals grow to about 3,5 meters while males are smaller, 2,8 meters. It is a top order predator, feeding on a wide range of pray including krill, fish, cephalopods, birds, most famously penguins and sometimes even other seals. Their only natural predator is the orca (killer whale)

so at the end of every semester we have to fill out class evaluations right, and teachers usually give them to us during the last 10 or 15 minutes of class and leave because they're not allowed to be in the room while they're being filled out, and a student has to take them to whatever office thing

today in french we did those but the professor gave us them at the beginning of class, so everyone...spent as long as possible on them so we wouldn't have to do anything in class...which tbh I thought was kind of funny, I mean...that's kind of bad planning on her part but

a lot of the things that the students said while she was gone were just really mean-spirited? like saying she's a horrible teacher and is "stupid" and how no one wants to take that class anyways so she should have just made it easier? and I was sitting there like....holy shit. Like, I've had classes where the students went in that direction and I enjoyed it thoroughly because the teacher was legitimately condescending or cruel or something like that but...this professor just seems kind of scared of the students? a lot of students are slacking off and she offers help but also stays out of their business if it's obvious they won't take help.

idk she's been practically begging students to stay in french next semester and I mostly feel sorry for her. like idc if students do their work or anything but lay off the professor. sighs
