Sometimes this technique works, but usually you just end up waiting until your sexual frustration overflows, which leads to you having sex in places that would otherwise be seen as inconvenient

They fight about everything.
Listen, what you have to understand is that this is a relationship built and buttered on arguments and sexual tension.
They both like to get right up under the other one and pick and poke and prod until they’re screaming.

And Ally will march into Lana’s office, arms crossed and mind stuck on some sort of cut or compromise.
Lana constantly has girls in and out of her office, and Ally will, if she’s feeling particularly fiery, boss them around and wave them out before Lana can protest.
Sometimes, sometimes, one of them will get too close to the other.
It’s usually Lana.
Sidling up against Ally and letting her eyes drop flirtatiously to her lips, maybe skimming her fingers down her side, maybe blowing smoke in her face, maybe letting her hand slip into Ally’s back pocket and holding her close.
When things heat up and soften down like this, Ally almost always caves to Lana’s demands.
Which is why she’s normally so careful not to let Lana get too close.
These women have jobs that were made to butt heads, and they don’t take that responsibility lightly.
But after all of the screaming matches and the arguments and counterarguments and the panting and gnashing of teeth and slamming of doors, they come home to each other.
It goes one of two ways.
Either Ally will come home to Lana curled up on the couch, wine already poured for both of them and Oz tucked snugly into bed.
In this case, Ally always drops her purse and toes off her shoes, pressing a soft kiss to Lana’s hair in greeting before going upstairs to check on him.
“He was pretty tired today,” Lana murmured after swallowing.
Ally crossed the room, threading their fingers together. “Thank you for tucking him into bed.”
Lana hummed. “My pleasure.”
And then Ally pressed a kiss to her hair and her fingers were falling away. “I’ll be right back.”
Once she gets back, they always fall into the same pattern.
Lana would shuffle to her end of the couch, leaving Ally room.
Ally would sit, grabbing her wine and pulling Lana’s legs over her lap.
And then they would just be, watching the news and sharing delicate, loving touches as they hummed and commented and laughed into the night.
One of them would always end up looking over at the other —
usually whoever had won the argument that day
— and then they would be kissing, wine forgotten as they pushed each other into the couch and gasped and moaned and whispered “I love you” until both of them had orgasmed.
The other way is not so nice, but infinitely more fun.
This one would happen when the arguments were bigger, when both parties were really not willing to budge on their position (not just pretending to get the other riled up) and were left to fume over it for the rest of the day.
Lana would come home, door slamming shut, and Ally would be on her like a shot, shoving her hard into the wood and dragging her hands down her sides.
“What the hell are you doing? You’re going to wake Oz up, god you’re so fucking reckless.”
It’s a fight for dominance at that point, both of them flipping each other and shoving each other into doorways and banisters and down over tables.
Clothes ripped off and discarded as they went, hands grabbing fiercely and raking down skin, leaving dark, red lines.
And the marking.

They would inevitably still be arguing between kisses, one getting the other to shut up by sucking on those spots they had memorized.
And by the time they had stumbled up the stairs, eyes fiery and hands furious, they would both be turned on to no degree.
Ally would shove Lana down on the bed, and Lana would drag her down with her, yanking her up when Ally tried to push her knees apart, pushing her down when Ally tried to kiss her.
It was always an argument, always a fight.
Each of them bound and determined not to give the other what they wanted. Not to let the other one win.
