I love the Kirby games so much because only in Kirby could they have a story hidden behind the curtains about an ai tech bro CEO and his young daughter trying to activate the most advanced supercomputer in the world, then have the daughter involved in a terrible accident because of the ai supercomputer--

And then the dad ends up grieving so badly he goes into an AI psychosis trying to get the computer to bring his daughter back,

then ends up fucking colonizing as many planets as he's possibly can and making the company worship him as basically a cult leader with a song that has the following lyrics-

"Noble Haltmann, we adore him. Every day we wish him glory,"

"Yours is every star and planet Now and ever, night and day!"

"We implore you, dear Haltmann Bless our work and be at ease!"

"All we wish for you our lord is that you never lead us wrong!"

"Rule us all, beloved Haltmann!"

Anyway-- when the daughter actually goes come back, he's so far gone he doesn't even fully regonize her anymore and just makes her his fucking servant head secretary (also she ends up doing all the work and he gets all the credit-)

And reminder!!! you, the player, have absolutely no idea about any of this shit because you just play as Kirby, all this shit is in the background and is completely optional lore.

Anywayyy, you progress through the game and go fight this fucker- and then whoop his rich bitch ass- Which causes him to crash the FUCK out and then he calls Kirby (and the people of his native planet) a fucking imperialist SLUR repeatedly??

He rhen tries to fight you with the ai supercomputer and then his daughter tries to take it away because he's sick of his fucking shit (vaild)

oooonly for him to get fucking fused by the computer, the computer erases his SOUL and becomes self aware

And then you have to FUCKING DESTORY THE AI SUPERCOMPUTER TO PREVENT ALL ORANGIC LIFE IN THE FUCKING UNIVERSE FROM BEING WIPED OUT OF EXISTENCE.

And then the game just causally has fucking pause screens during the final boss that says THIS-

YOU THEN HAVE NO CHOICE BUT STRAIGHT UP TO KILL HIM ALONG WITH THE COMPUTER TO SAVE THE FUCKING UNIVERSE AND THE BITCH STAYS DEAD.

AND HIS POOR DAUGHTER HAS SURVIVOR'S GUILT-

AND THE BEST PART IS THE FUCKING AI SUPERCOMPUTER LOOKS LIKE THIS-

IT'S A FUCKIN GIANT PLANET SIZED CAT DEMON WITH A FUCKING :3 FACE. THIS BITCH IS ABOUT TO DESTROY ALL LIFE IN THE UNIVERSE AND THEY GOT A PERMANENT ":3" FACE LMFAO

Anyway happy 10 year anniversary Kirby Planet Robobot- (I know im late shut up) this game was ahead of it's fucking time dealing with themes of imperialism-- corrupt CEOs, ai tech bros, and had the guts to sneak this shit in in the background where most casual players would never even know on the 3DS of all consoles.

This is a fucking Kirby game where Kirby pilots a mech suit bro how the hell it end up turning into one of the most fucked up backstories for any kid's game villain to have.

I fucking love Kirby so much dude I wish I talked about it more.
