White House Releases National Policy Framework for Artificial Intelligence
WHITE HOUSE AI FRAMEWORK NEWS!🇺🇸 ⭐️🤖
I covered this like two weeks ago ,but in summary from these articles, what I was getting was these articles:
The National Policy Framework for AI by the White House outlines the US government’s approach to AI. These articles mainly talked about the benefits while addressing potential risks.
- Promoting innovation. (Supporting AI research to maintain global leadership.)
- AI Safety and trust. (AI systems must be transparent, accountable, and fair to avoid bias and ensure safety.)
- Privacy and rights. (Protect privacy/civil rights with responsible AI use.)
- Workforce strengthening and AI in the workplace. (Investing in AI education and reskilling for workers. AI taking jobs is something we also NEED to address! )
- Global collaboration. (Working with other nations to set global AI standards.)
- AI governance. (Developing policies to regulate AI and balance innovation with risk management. I think that this one is definitely needed! Here in the US, AI laws are basically nonexistent.)
- Ethical AI. (Focus on human centered AI that benefits society. This one also needs to be talked about desperately. What is ethical in AI vs. what is not.)
- Addressing Risks of AI. (They are trying to tackle specific concerns like national security, again job displacement, and misinformation. With Donald Trump, I fear that misinformation might be things he doesn't like or agree with. So I'm worried about this one!)
(Thank you, @devildog452 , for the articles :) ❤️👍! Here in the US, AI needs to be regulated. We do not have a lot of laws about AI and what they can and can't do. I'm happy they are ATLEAST trying to come up with something!)
