Jimber goes to meet her forever person tomorrow, and I’m very happy for her. She’s had several interested parties and someone special finally decided that being able to call this precious little creature their very own was worth the high cost of overnight shipping. I wish her safe travels and I hope her person loves her, even though she is a sassy butt 99.999% of the time. Happy ever after, Jimber.

Long time followers of my Tumblr know I LOVE American Idol and I’ve been enjoying this new ABC version of it. Here are my hot takes of the Top 14

Opinions on the Idol Top 14

Gabby - Her and Cade are your winners. I love her bubbly personality and she can SANG as she put it! She’s the next Carrie Underwood AND can do R&B (Her Ain’t No Way cover had me SLAYED)

Jonny - I love his story about coming to Idol without his family knowing and he’s good, but needs more of a personality. Still like him tho! 

Marcio - He has a great voice! I love his story and it moved America to tears. Also gotta show love for someone from Compton!

Cade - The winner with Gabby. THANK YOU for bringing back some serious rock and roll and he’s a modern day guitar hero. Covering so many classic 60’s/70’s rock artists—maybe he’s the next Robert Plant and in today’s music world I am SO here for it!

Caleb - Scotty 2.0! But seriously, he has an incredible voice and country radio is going to sound great with him

Garrett - He’s cute and is a football player so that’s a plus (though I miss Laine but I’d digress). He’s got a solid Phillip Phillips-esque voice and that’s always a plus in my book.

Jurnee - I see them Sasha vibes haha! But for real she’s a great vocalist and I loved her Top 14 performance the best!

Mara - This young girl has a powerful voice and I LOVE her hair! Crazy to know she’s TEN years younger than me wow I’m old

Dennis - Top 3, he’s incredible and I’ve loved him since his audition! He’s crazy talented and I like the “alternative R&B” label. Unique voice and he’s amazing!

Maddie - I wasn’t into her at first but she is really good! I love to hear a “Folk” type of singer and it’s refreshing. She’s very good and I like her!

Michelle - I love her personality and dancing, but she’s so Tatiana for me. But she has talent so that’s a plus 

Catie - She’s unique and adorable! I wanna hug her and I see Hollywood being an incredible future for her

Ada - Can SANG! May come off a bit screamy/theatrical but that can be harnessed with practice and time. A powerhouse singer and I see incredible things in Ada’s future

Michael - He’s adorable! Very solid voice and a solid singer with a great personality!
