Okay so here's my theory for season two of aib as someone who has not yet watched season three. I will watch season three asap
Okay so I personally think that borderland was some kind of "hell" or an early stage of it considering the fact that everyone who was in there was hit by a meteor and the only people who survived were those whose heart stopped for a minute
Now the reason I believe it's hell over heaven is because all the people taking part are superficially "bad" people
Arisu is a "good for nothing" who dissapointed his family
Usagi was seen as "bad" for not siding with the public abt her father
Chishiya lacks to show empathy for anyone and anything
Niragi explains itself.
Aguni was seen as a "Yakuza" by people who didn't know him
Akane was the perfect image of a mean girl
Kuina brought "shame" upon her family name and is trans which in some religions is seen as a sin
Ann disects bodies which in itself is not something evil but it could be seen as "disturbing the last peace"
Chota was part of a cult
Karube often got into physical fights
Danma (at least stated in the wiki) used to do street fighting (also with Aguni)
Oki, pre marital sex. Also look at him, he's probably killed someone.
Banda is yknow. A serial killer.
Tatta chopped someone's hand off
Kyuma and his band. Idk i'm genuinly lost on this one. Maybe they've played "unholy" music, maybe whatever god there exists didn't like the way they were all equal. Or maybe the did some illegal undergroung gigs. Also Kyuma says that him and his roommate didn't really have the cleanest home so maybe that counts under not taking care of yourself? Idk they're Angels we love the sology.
Keiichi is an Angel too.
amd this is only some characters, at least those to whom we know some kind of backstory as far as i'm aware so yeah
I'm taking a break from this stupid show and then I'll watch season 3.
