While the sending crystals are useful for checking in or just hearing your voice, I too prefer the permanence of your letters. Whenever I have a moment to myself, I read your letters over again and can feel your love for me in every word. I’m sure you can imagine how hard I blush at your naughtier letters, and I enjoy imagining the look on your face as you read mine.
I remember when “I love you” was a hard thing for you to say, and I learned to treasure every single one and hold it close to my heart. Even though you have changed, and grown more comfortable in your affections, I still treat your every declaration with the same reverence.
I know that our life together has never been easy, but I desperately long for a time when I no longer have to leave your side, when we can spend every night in each other’s arms, and every “I love you” can be spoken rather than written.

I don't have much to share right now because I've been pretty busy this week, but I am working on a late entry for Dorian Week, for my Inquisitor Aiden Lavellan and Dorian - Veilguard Era. Here's a little bit I wrote where Jericho and Lace snuck their way in to my Pavellan story. 😅
Distracted as Aiden was, he couldn't help but notice that Rook's attention wasn't fully on him and Morrigan. As he assured Harding that her Ma was safe, Aiden caught that whenever Lace spoke, Jericho tilted his head down to look at her, and his eyes filled with a look that was all too familiar. Equal parts affection and longing. Aiden realized that it was the same way he used to look at Dorian when they were falling for each other. Smiling, he thought to himself, “These world shaking events must have a way of bringing people together.”

How long on average do you spend writing 1 chapter?
I don't write chapters. Most of my stuff is too short for that. A drabble under 1k words can take me a day or two if I'm focused. But I'm a really inconsistent writer. I'll write a paragraph here, a piece of dialogue there, and once I have enough pieces I'll really start putting it together. That's why it takes so long for me to finish anything.
How long do you spend editing?
Not long tbh. I edit as I go, and then give everything a once or twice over before I post it.
Favorite thing to write?
Romance! Including angst, hurt/comfort, and fluff! I hardly write anything else. It's what I like and what I'm good at. That often means my stuff is dialogue heavy and lacking in action, but again, it's what I'm good at. I love writing emotion!
Hardest thing to write?
Action is tough. It doesn't come naturally to me and I don't particularly enjoy it. I also just refuse to write graphic/descriptive smut. Most you'll get from me is implied/fade to black, and maybe some very light description of what's going on. Maybe.
Fic/story you are most proud of and why?
HOSTAGE. 100% My only longer fic, at almost 25k. The backstory fic for my canon Rook, Jericho Mercar. It details his life as a Dreamer, raised by a cruel Magister, forced into the Venatori against his will, his struggles with mental health, his demons, both literal and figurative. His escape, changing his identity, joining the Shadow Dragons, his relationship with Elek, and finally, joining up with Varric and Harding. It was a labor of love, 3 months of writing, and extremely cathartic. I know I won't shut up about it, but I'd really love to hear what people think about it if they read it!
