This trilogy has been sitting for who knows how long on my Kindle, but it has finally shown its first page, out of 240. With the typical reading time of 3h24m. So, piece of cake. This is book 1/3 in Moon Marked series.
If you'd like to see fight scenes, this book is for you. If you'd like to see a kitsune pair up with a werewolf, this book is for you. If you'd like to see a character make several mistakes on loop, this book is for you.
Mia is a teacher, moonlights as an arena fighter and it's doing her best to make her sister's education happen. But this unruly kitsune, will give her sister far too much trouble. Not to mention, there's a social service guy threatening the sisters bond and whatnot. But he isnt the only problem available, many more will show, and so will secret.
It's entertaining, but I thought everything was too tangled. Too many shots being fired, not many targets getting hit. Oh, and she hears the voice of the dead. I mean just her moms. But still. And yes, she will team up with the werewolf, but at what cost? And what's next? Well, little ones, only the next book can answer all that.
