At open mic and a guy named Brian Kohr started with his open poetry. 

I’ve been working through a breakup for 7 months on the 16th of March. I have been working though my own demons and something he said really hit me.

He was going through talking about hookups at parties, and how his fetish isn’t memorizing pickup lines and pouring shots down girls throats, but knowing the girl and seeing the diamonds that live within her.

One line that he said hit me and it was something along the lines of I’ve been living on high avenue but homeless in my mind.

For months that has been what I have existed in. Existing on earth, seeing it all, doing the work, and passing...but wondering aimlessly through it all. 

I used to write poetry, and dance, and love, and experience life....but now I am stuck. 

Goal #1, start writing again.....writing all of my thoughts,,,I have been so in my head and it just hit me that I should start again.
