Psellia’s Winds of Protection Warding Spell (Neopets Inspired)

A protective spell to create a safe, protected space for the use of magic and rituals or simply protecting one’s home. This spell goes hand in hand with warding spells. This spell is best performed outside.

You Will Need:

🌪️ Open Space 

🌪️ Hand-fan or Besom (up to preference)

🌪️ Rosemary or Lavender Incense

Set Up:

To set up for your spell make sure you have plenty of move, this spell does require some movement. Light your incense and let it burn nearby but out of the way of risk of being hit, stepped on or knocked over. Make sure not to burn incense in a room with small mammals, birds, or other pets that may become ill due to it. This spell works best outdoors so if you can be outside that is for the best, if this is just not an option make sure you have good ventilation and air flow with open windows. 

The Spell:

🌪️ Once you have found your area and have cleansed yourself, light your incense and set it where it will not be in the way.

🌪️ Take your chosen tool in hand and stand form with it holding it out before you. 

🌪️ “I call the winds and air, to aide my needs, protect my dwelling, prevent misdeeds!”

🌪️ While chanting use your tool of choice to create sweeping or big ‘pushing’ motions of air away from you, like you are sweeping away dirt or dust. Make sure your tool if using a besom, does not actually sweep the ground. If the winds are particularly favorably they may even start to blow for you, but not always the case especially if buildings or tall fences are around.

🌪️ Do this pushing motion while walking in a good amount of area like you are cleaning it. While doing this, imagine the winds and air, no matter how light, blowing away dust and darkness away from your home or room or area you are trying to protect. This flow continuing keeping all of the dust and dirt at bay no matter how hard said dust tries to get back in. Visualize this, feel the wind and air moving through the area and put a lot of effort into this.

🌪️ You will feel exhausted by the end of it but if done right, you will be able to feel the new warding spell around you and the area. Extinguish the incense if needed or let burn if desired.. Take a good rest.

🌪️ This spell will need to be redone and maintained once or twice a month to keep the area protected. Be sure to still regularly cleanse and check your wards.

Protection Chimes

Windchimes are available in a wide variety of shapes, size, and designs. They’re also ruled by the element of Air and can be used to guard your home against unwanted guests and negative energies.

Fine, make, or buy a new set of windchimes. They should emit a definite sound. Before suspending them outside, charge them to do their task with the following or similar ritual:

Place the windchimes on a flat surface in your place of magic. Gaze down at them, realizing that they’re lifeless, still, unmoving.

Wave your dominant hand over them while saying;

Wind chimes; Spell rhymes; Spell chimes; Wind rhymes. Air primes Spell chimes; Nines times Nine.

Lift the windchimes by the string from which they will be hung. Hold them bfore your face. Blow against the windchimes, visualizing their tones scattering and driving away negativity.

Hang them up outside, with visualization, and let the windchimes do their work.

For the best results, repeat this charging spell every nine days.

Kyukimon’s Winds of Offense Protection Spell

“A Bewitching Beast Digimon that can manipulate wind and whose defining feature is its light pink body. From both its arms it can give rise to vacuum tornadoes.”

An air spell used to create an offense protection barrier around one’s self to keep magickal and supernatural attacks at bay.

You Will Need:

Lavender

Peppermint

Mint

Parsley

Amethyst

Small printed out image of something sharp (razor blade, sword, etc)

White Sachet

Outdoor Space

Wind or a Breeze

Steps:

Print out the small image you would like to use to represent weapons or blades. Cut it down to size so it can fit in the sachet. Small toy swords or cocktail swords can also work but can still be pokey.

While still indoors fill your sachet with the herbs, image, and amethyst before tying it shut

Go outside to the area designated for your spell and face the way the breeze or wind is coming from

Hold the sachet in both of your hands close to your chest and close you eyes feeling the energy and movement of the wind

Focus on your intent to bring yourself offensive protection. In this case if needed be more specific such as ‘protection from magickal attacks” or ‘protection from baneful spirits’ etc. 

Once your intent is clear visualize the wind that you feel on your face swirling around you and your sachet like a tornado, you are safe inside. Any darkness or threats that come near it cut cut by the winds and warded off from getting near to you. Visualize this until you feel that protective energy about you and visualize it anchored to your sachet.

Once satisfied close the spell as you see fit

Carry sachet with you for its protection. Charge it weekly and cleanse it with wind, incense or near an open window. Keep it dry.

“Capture the Wind” Jar Spell

An elemental bottle spell to bring the energy and wind into your practice. Very good for divination, empowering wishing and creativity spells, and boosting one’s own energy.

You Will Need:

 💨 A jar with a lid 💨 Fluorite 💨 Amethyst 💨 Lavender 💨 Dandelion (preferably seeds or fluff) 💨 Rosemary 💨 Oregano  💨 Cotton Balls 💨 Incense of your choice (or rather the ashes from incense) 💨 Wind or a breeze

Steps:

💨 Cleanse your jar and yourself before starting the spell, center and ground if needed

💨 In your jar add your herbs one at a time. Only fill about a 1/3rd of your jar, leave plenty of room in it.

💨 Add your incense ash then your cotton balls on top in a layer

💨 Add in your gemstones on top of the herbs.

💨 If you are not already outside, go outside. If you are unable to for whatever reason, open your window as far as it will open. 

💨 Hold the jar (still open) in both of your hands and hold it out before you. Close your eyes and feel the wind through your hair, how it billows your clothing and brushes your cheeks. Visualize the energy of this wind as it blows about you. In your mind focus it swirling about your jar and into it, whether it is like a strong current or a tornado doesn’t matter; visualize it however you wish.

💨 “Wispy wild winds, lend me your energy, I ask you for your aid, to charge this jar with your swirling, free energy.” repeat as needed or desired.

💨 Once you feel your jar is properly charged with wind seal the jar tightly.

💨 Recharge it monthly with the wind or near an open window.

Wind Enchantment for Divination

A spell to enchant an object or piece of jewelry to help give the caster energy for divination and aid.

You Will Need:

💨 Piece of jewelry or an object 💨 Windy Day 💨 Outdoor space where you can work

Steps:

💨 Prepare yourself for the spell however you see fit

💨 With your object in hand go outside to the space you are going to be working in, if you can face into the wind

💨 Grasp your object to your chest and feel the wind in your hair and blow against you. Feel its energy merging with yours. Visualize this however you desire, this spell is heavily visualization.

💨 Hold out your object into the the wind. Visualize both your energy and that of the winds, swirling about the object, like a cyclone. Visualize this whirlwind being absorbed into the object

💨 At this point I often imagine almost like an eye appearing during this process, for this spell to help give you energy for divination work.

💨 Once you feel satisfied with the amount of energy placed into your object, thank the wind for its help however you feel is fit.

💨 Wear/hold the object whenever you are using divination, especially if its going to be a large session. 

💨 Cleanse object when needed and may occasionally need to be charged with the wind, though not too often.

🙇🏻 Fix to Flat Hair 💁🏻

Estimated Time:

At least 6 minutes (depends on personal skills of the caster). Should be around 10 minutes.

Description:

Turns heavy, flat hair into lighter, cleaner hair with more volume. Can be used for any length of hair. (Warning: Leaves a risk of poofy hair - Incorporate lapis lazuli, petrified wood, green aventurine, or water/a gray rock to eliminate this risk.)

What You’ll Need:

• 1 or 2 Cotton Balls (1 cotton ball for short hair, 2 for long hair) • A Mirror • A Brush, Comb, or Pick • Needle and thread, tape, or glue (Optional) •Aragonite (Orange) - Can be substituted by vibrant citrine, red-orange aventurine, orange goldstone, or spirit quartz • Blue Lace Agate - Raises the risk of poofy hair. Stones that don’t raise the risk that can replace this are of fire nature and results may differ. Fire based substitutes: Carnelian, Yellow/Orange/Red Aventurine, Vibrant (not as dark) Garnet, Red Quartz, and Spinel •Clear Quartz, Aqua Obsidian, Moonstone, Opalite, or Celestite • A Poppet

How to Perform:

Place or attach the cotton balls on the poppet to imitate your hair, attaching with the needle/thread/etc. if you choose to, and bind yourself to the poppet using your energy. Place the poppet down, upright, on its back or its front. Place the Blue Lace Agate above the head for lift, the Aragonite to the side of the head for volume, and the Clear Quartz on the other side for cleansing. The Clear Quartz should promote clean, light, less residue-containing hair. Have the mirror where you can see your face and where your poppet setup is still in fair view. Use your brush/comb/pick in your hair, visualizing each of the crystals, their positions, and their colors. Visualize the intent of each crystal and their connection to the poppet, and the poppet’s connection to you. Visualize the intensity and results of each aspect of the spell to your hair. Make sure to keep energizing throughout this process. Finish the ritual by sealing your poppet via energy, preventing further changes to your binding. You will be able to add in energy to each aspect from them on when needed, and it will affect you, as well. If you wish to make changes to the aspects and what they do, break the seal, and restart the ritual with the changes you want. Breaking the seal will also break the poppet’s connection to you. This protects you from most dangers of binding to a poppet, as well as keeping your spell stable.

Modern Witch Tip

If you need to harness the power of a strong wind, but there is no wind on that day, just take a drive with the windows down, how fast you go will determine the strength of the wind.

(Also please note that you shouldn’t try to use this as a reason to speed. Speeding is bad and dangerous. If you need a strong wind, get on a highway or take a route that has a higher speed limit.)
